Rice held Jacobs to 55 total yards - good showing in the rain. Will be a great game next week at Rice vs SCN.
I hope you get to play Batavia along the line, Last year, their announcers (adults, mind you) made fun of your team when the score got out of hand. A week or two later, when my school was trouncing them, they whined about "running up the score."

Was hoping to see BR/Corsairs match up. I know the game needs to be played but I don't see them having too much trouble with SCN at home. Only 2 teams I could see giving BR an issue out of the remaining 7A is DGN or Batavia and I still would put BR as a heavy favorite in both. It's theirs to lose

BTW, I'd love to see you guys and SR play for the 7A championship. It would drive so many "other" coaches crazy.
What's this I heard this weekend about at least 4 starters on Rice being senior transfer-ins, that will be leaving after the fall semester to play spring ball at their respective colleges.. so they're legit paid mercenary players on campus for 4 months? Rice always been pathetic with the transfers but I guess now this is a new low for how little value they place on a diploma from that school?

They have one starter that is a transfer, but he is a JR OL.
