I had D pleasure of talking 2 U in person and setting b side U @ a game. And I know U R a honest and very well educated person on a lot of subjects and U's knows High School Football. Would Tommy da ball Knotts schedule a game with all of this magnitude and on National Television with da Creek if he didn't have a Vision of a chance 2 win this game. this is something he has really wanted and I don't think he will let d Creek walk away with d Win. U probably know him better than his coaching staff. This is a thought, do u think he has spoken 2 his old defense coach Bill Geiler or his old offense coach that was with him on the Indy run about this game. Thanks.

Doubt he has spoken with Geiler about the game as Coach G has been retired for awhile. May be some other coaches though.

A couple of years ago he was going to come up on a bye week and watch Creek. He and Palmeiri have worked on scheduling games before. They just got it to work out last season and this year, too!

Knotts probably feels pretty good about his chances. I think he felt better last year.

Everyone says the game is a go for tv because it is being played in SC. When Indy went to Ohio they would not allow the game to be televised on live tv even though it was on Saturday night. I think the NCHSAA has lightened their stance on live tv considering they have allowed the Thursday night games in recent years.

The NCHSAA had jurisdiction to determine if a game in Ohio was televised? Or was that the Ohio high school football association?

When it is an NCHSAA member the NCHSAA always has jurisdiction as does the school system. The game was part of the package to be shown on national tv. It was shown on tape delay in NC. Not sure if it was shown live in other areas of the US but do not think it was. Crazy part is the game was on Saturday night and doubtful any NC high schools played that night. My complaint with the rule was that they would not allow games on non Fridays to be televised. Did not have so much issue with a Friday game not being televised.

ESPN is listing this as their first game of the season for the network.
