This should be a good one Friday night... For whatever reason East Rutherford always seems to give Burns trouble. On paper Burns should win this game by 20+... But with a huge game against Shelby next week, Burns absolutely cannot afford to get caught looking ahead or East could sneak up and win this one...

But with that said:

I dont quite understand ER, Saw their skill guys at a 7 on 7 w Gaffney and Crest and they definitely passes the eye test and had some good looking kids. The Jones kid is a great athlete. Burns has more than just one or two kids and that will be the difference.

ER graduated a lot of talented seniors last year. They are more or less in a rebuilding stage. This year is definitely a down year for them.

I will never put down a kid on here and try to be respectful to the coaches as well. Nobody wants to win more than the coach but with that being said wonder when East will decide another guy would be a better fit .....they get the athletes and that would be a coveted job for sure.

This game won’t be close Rev. Burns is a greatly improved team while ER is down this year. There have been some great games between these two recently. I’m actually thinking Chase is probably better than ER this year.

But East is going to lose by as many as Devine feels comfortable with. East has no bench starters play both ways no experience to back them.They run out of gas .
