Particularly that goal tend non-call. And Cliff ran over some guy too. Kinda shocking. That goal tend non-call saved our asses.
It wasn't goal-tending. They replayed it several times right after it happened. The announcers said what was obvious to anyone who viewed the replays....it was close, but the refs got it right.
The refs let a lot of things go...both ways.

Please expand on the Cliff comment..are you talking last play? (didn't see 2nd half so not sure if there was another moment you're referring to)

Oh, you were there.

Yeah it was super super close, if I were there (and a Wisconsin fan) I probably would’ve been pissed. But they showed a replay and it looked like barely not a goal tend, which Bardo agreed with (while saying it was super super close)
I’ll go with Bardo on this not because I’m biased or anything. After OSU this year, I will spend little or no time worrying about close calls that went our way.

So, I just imagined a T1 and moving pick that nearly decapitated someone dribbling the ball?

Sure. Went our way

I am as big a Rutgers fan as anyone, but we got some favorable calls on the road in Madison with two teams badly needing a W. I was surprised to see it. I and everyone else watching in real time at the game thought it was offensive interference. Officials easily could have called it as such. Lucky break. I will take it though. We got hosed in Ohio.

Good call. If it’s close you don’t call it.

Not sure what it sounded like in person but it sounded like a library on television and Bardo mentioned how quiet it was in the second half. So maybe the refs weren’t influenced by the home crowd.

The break on the Cliff Hepburn foul was they somehow gave the basket to Cliff. That was ridiculous in a good way.

Hyatt’s follow up was a goal tend. The angle they kept showing at the end showed space between the ball and rim because of the camera angle. It wasn’t a camera over the rim. The initial replays clearly showed it was still in the cylinder. BTN was not going to harp on it. If that were the national championship game, trust me, we’d hear about it forever.

I’m not giving it back. We win. I’m sure we’ll get screwed again someday.

Dear Colonel,

I hope this letter finds you well. I find it interesting that you’re so sure it was a goaltend. You point out that the replay big ten kept showing, camera angle made it appear it was not goaltend. While omitting the other camera angles same effect. The other angle is to the side and behind Hyatt making it look like the ball was over the cylinder.

The ref actually had a Rutgers favorable angle as he was to the side and behind then hoop.

Reminds me of Japan/Spain World Cup. Lol

Wisconsin fans were livid sitting near me
Wisconsin fans were also livid when Crowl elbowed Wahl in the neck. We do that too at home doesn’t mean we’re always right.

Tip in by Hyatt was perfectly timed. Cliff was fouled by Chuckie. But overall calls were better for us than the Nebraska game. tominanga was great offensively but offensive with his dramatic flopping and fake injuries.

Didn’t you also predict Essigian was going to beat us today?

If the Hyatt put back was a goal tend (which it was not) then so was the travel not called on Klesmit on the last possession along with the 3 Wahl pushoffs/charges.

The flop by Hepburn wasn't rewarded either, it should have been a FT awarded on top of the basket made.

It's always good to flush out the haters after a win, they stick out so much more these days.

Onto Michigan folks.....!!
