Campbell being linked to the Vikings

That's the one place he really wants. The NFL. They can easily pay his buyout.

Campbell has ties to both teams at the running back position in Montgomery and Vikings rookie running back Kene Nwangwu, the Cyclones’ all-time leader in kick return yards.

He really hasn’t been on a short list of candidates for openings that would be an improvement from Iowa St which means he is either very loyal or nobody wants him.
My earlier prediction was Day going to the Bears, Fickell going to OSU. Now that Jimmy H may go back to the NFL, Michigan would need to make a solid hire which again could be Fickell If both Jimmy H leaves and Day, Campbell would be primed to take either of those spots.
However with all of the openings, it appears most of the NFL is looking for current NFL guys. I would not be surprised if Dabo isn’t in the NFL. He is not the type of coach that will play this NIL garbage.
As a Raiders fan, if our interim HC would not have helped them to the playoffs a d that he is loved by everybody, I think David would have offered Dabo on Monday. Still may happen.
Keep an eye on Lane Kiffen too.

Now, there isn’t much more to this rumor as of now, and it sounds like names like Doug Pederson and Eric Bienemy are more realistic candidates at this point, but you never know. So, don’t say we didn’t warn you.
