It really does not matter in what grouping your school competes in next year in the new CCL. It's going to be a bloodbath week to week. Teams will be playing quarterfinalists, semifinalists and state champs all up and down the board. The teams will get no time off to recover and won't be able to rest any injured players. Having said all that - the conference champs will be instant contenders for the state title at the various classes.

[QUOTE="Kevin JCHS 81,
Naz's schedule does seem to be beneath them a little, they have a ton returning. I'm not sure that schedule will battle test them very well.[/QUOTE]

Exactly who in conference battled tested Naz this year except Marist? Every other game was a running clock. Marist is still a cross over game on the schedule the next two seasons so at worst they will be no more or less battle tested than this year and some of the teams they face could provide better competition than this year’s conference did. St Laurence, Fenwick, Benet could all have better seasons next year and the year after and they are all on the schedule with Marist (as is Notre Dame and who knows what you will or won’t get from them).

I think I was only looking at the list of conf games when I said that. I don't think it showed Marist or other non-conf games.

Can LWE join the CCL Blue? I think they would do nicely in this conference.

Welcome aboard!

But you have to pay tuition on top of property taxes! You have to pay for the buses/transportation! You have to pay extra for electives and for before and after school classes. You have to pay for ACT/SAT prep classes You have to pay for lab fees. Also the teachers and coaches have to take a dramatic pay cut to be in line with everyone else. You can recruit but your kids are all free agents from your youth football program since their are no boundaries. Since they have to pay they may what to go where they can start sooner. So say good by to 40% of those kids. You also have to do never ending fund raising. Pay for all your books except the AP ones. Mandatory hours in the hot dog stand and you can't pay someone else to do it. You have to pay for uniforms and meals. When they graduate they are expected to send money as an alumni to the school once they are out of college for the rest of their lives.

And if you do a good job after they graduate they will send their children there even when they move out of the area as legacy's.

Don’t want to be a private school just join the conference.
I guess you don’t get the one without the other.

Funny how the NCAA has independents like ND but play all the other schools without being in a conference.

Going out today to get gift cards today for the tags I took off of the giving tree Sunday. Kids asking for gift cards from Walmart for clothing. Not from Bonwitt Teller or Water Tower Place from Walmart. Everyone here needs to put football in perspective. WE are all blessed here.

This year, I plan on giving everyone a gift card from Bonwit Teller.

Sorry that's the entry fee.

What’s is a parent’s pledge? Not trying to be funny, just have not heard of it before.
Something extra besides tuition . School would love for each family to give a donation. This is a parent pledge to help out I would assume with financial aid for other kids .

Have you noticed the new buildings shooting up/getting remodeled at an astonishing rate? Maybe the money goes to that? Stop trying to pose as a Naz parent. You’re full of it.

I was under the impression that the pledge went to closing the actual gap in the cost per student to run the school. I do know this, I liked it being a pledge vs tuition because as a pledge it at least gave you a charitable donation for tax purposes that was not subject to AMT rules.

I have at a great experience at Naz but between Epic Bret and this LB dude . Wow a couple of jerks . You are right I don't know exactly where my parent pledge goes but I'm glad you do.

Just as a point of reference, ol IrishLB did say, with a high degree of certainty, that JCA was "mediocre", and Montini would "win big".

Not my fault you have no idea what you are talking about.

Also clear your kids aren't legacies...
