That is sure enough BIG LOVE out of Neuheisel... and yes, cart before horse. Even as fans, we can hold off on that thought for two more weeks. It would be incredible to visit Knoxville with that much at stake... but first... BEAT MIZZOU!

I have to admit . . . back in late September, of all the comments I thought I might hear on a college football show this time of year . . . thaaat was not one of them.

Here are some others:

"so Rick if you had to chose today would it be Lamar Jackson or Patrick Towles for the Heisman?"

"Does Bama need to win out and become bowl eligible for Saban to keep his job?"

"Let's go around the horn . . . what is your reaction to Morehead State being added to the Big 12 conference?"

I think we can win the next 2 although it won't be easy. It's that UT game that I think keeps us from an improbable Atlanta appearance.

We got a serious case of battered housewives syndrom anongst this fanbase lmao. I base my opinion on my team based on what that year tells me. This year i do not see why UK winning the east is such a fantasy. We play a mediocre missou team who cant stop the run. We play a very underwhelming georgia team and Tenn is farrrrr from unbeatable. Watching UK i believe we actually have the best upside to finish strong. We have a very young roster that is peaking. Get on board and give these cats some support and moxie

If Kentucky should tie Florida, they would loose out because of head to head. It's going to be really hard to win more games than Florida.

True. Of course Florida could lose to Georgia and LSU also (not likely but possible).

SIMPLE FACT:

If Johnson stops fumbling and throwing INTs, UK can play with anyone. If that one thing gets cleaned up, we can run the ball on anyone.

That gives us a chance in any game.

I'll say this... if the kids prove good enough in all phases to take the next two, then I give them at least a 1 in 3 chance to take UT in Knoxville with our ground game.

Not really, If you believe UK is capable of beating a bad mizzou team and a mediocre Georgia team at home.

If you believe that the above is plausible, then UK would be 5-2 in the SEC with only a game in Knoxville left (SEC games). UF, on the other hand, is currently 3-1 in the SEC and still has a neutral game against UGA (possible loss), a road game at LSU (probable loss), a road game at Arkansas (probable loss), a home game with South carolina (win) remaining. Could easily see UF losing at least 2 of those games and possibly 3.

If UF, UK, and UT all have 3 losses, then I believe that the tiebreaker would go to best divisional record and UT would win given that two of their losses came against the SEC west.

If you do not believe that UK can beat mizzou and UGA, then yes, it's a steep uphill climb.

of course, they have a dozen or so players out......38-10 then on to the next victim

Big Cat, no way we hold them to just 10 points! Most likely high scoring and the last one with the ball win's. Really hope it's not that close, but both will score a lot of points IMO.
