Texas losing to Kansas State may cause Charlie to be fired in the tunnel before the beginning of the 2nd half
Serious question. Why do we care? I think he's a good coach. Maybe not HC material but still a good coach. Very good DC for sure. I attended UofL while he was the coach there and interacted with quite a few football players and everyone of them were excellent kids.
Are people wanting him as our DC next year? I'd be happy about that.

It is weird that we have so many fans that want to jump on the back of a bike with Bobby Petrino. That worship him for going 7-5 last year with louisville. But they can't wait for Charlie Strong to get fired because he was so overrated going 11-1 and beating Florida in the Sugar Bowl.
I wish he could be our coordinator, but that's not going to ever happen. I'd say his future is on level with Head coach at South Florida, or coordinator at Ohio State.

Blue, You should know that in our society today, patience is a word that is not known. The big salaries, which the coaches demand, and the AD's and schools are willing to pay, have prevented the word, patience to be accepted.
I would expect Strong to be fired after this game, even though the 'Big" Longhorn backer, who didn't want Strong, said, "There is no reason to fire a coach mid-season."

Texas has one of the worst defenses I've ever seen. I'm stunned they've only given up 24 points this game. They ave up around 700 yards against OU. They're miserable defensively.
I said at the beginning of the year Strong as a head coach was way overrated. His success at UL was based on cheating to get players, including Bridgewater. You see what kind of coach he is without "Show cause" Hurt cheating to bring him players. Texas is a joke.
I'm so sick of hearing, "red is a racist, they need to give him more time, he's not getting more time because he is black " folks, this seals the deal. He's. it getting the job done and should be fired. He's a mediocre coach at best. It was a false narrative that he was a good coach because of those weak teams he played in the aac. The stupidity of some of his calls just won't cut it at Texas. He would be a good fit for an EKU

He won at UL before they got to the ACC, but that being said, I still thought he should have gotten more consideration from Mitch B when he interviewed in 2003 after Morriss left. I think he could have been successful here at Kentucky.

That must be part of any coaches contract at UL,be it basketball,football or any other sport.
