North Stokes hosts Chatham Central this Friday night. Any thoughts on this game. Coach Sessoms haa North Stokes playing well right now. Just wondering any thoughts on this game.

I think North Stokes is the better rounded team than CC is but CC has some talents who could give the Vikes fits. They have a couple big kids on the line and a very good QB Michael Moore, who is gonna be the best player Chatham Central will probably every have, he's a once in an era player for them. The kid can chunk it a mile and has thrown for over 3,000 in just 2 years. He will finish with 5 or 6 thousand by the time he's done.
CC will test North's pass defense. They will be fired up after letting Atkins slip by them last night, they went to OT and CC missed a 2 pointer which cost them the game. N Stokes will need to ball control and play hard on defense to stay in it.

North played good defense last night. They kept the quarterback in check for North Moore. Should be a great game in Danbury.
It’s hard for anyone to really buy into the “North Stokes is playing well” hype. Yes, they have won their first 2 games but they have not played anyone yet with talent.
I do think North Stokes could slip up and finish 3rd in the conference, but that has more to do with how weak the Northwest is outside of the powerhouse MA and ES.

North Stokes winning games is good for the area as a whole, it shows parity is truly going around.
Right now I think South or Prep will get #3 but I wouldn't be surprised if North Stokes beats Bishop. They look really rough.

In the past 6 seasons either East Surry (14,15,16-tied) or MA (13,16-tied,17,18) have won the NW1A. Not sure what you’re getting at.
Not talking about championships just enjoying the great football atmosphere at North Stokes this year. The team is fun to watch, the cheerleaders are great and the band is the sounds the best it ever has. Enjoying Friday night lights at E A Lyons Stadium.
Glad to see north stokes have a good team and wouldn't it be something if they beat the other stokes teams

West beats them soundly but should when it’s 900 kids to 300, and south probably beats them. But what they’ve had the last three years, it’s good to see them have some success, not matter who they play.
I’m thinking about making the trip up to Danbury this Friday (hurricane permitting) since we have a bye week.
How are the hot dogs in the concession stand? Anything I need to try?
Hot dogs are good. Great time to come to North Stokes this Friday night at half time we are celebrating the softball state championship with the ring ceremony. You will enjoy your trip to North Stokes this year we have a great Friday night lights atmosphere.

I couldn’t decide if I wanted to go to this game or not... Decided at the last minute to go. By the time I got to NSHS, I had no phone service. Sorry I didn’t get to say hello, tarheel!
Here is my take-away from the game.
1- The football atmosphere is MUCH better than I expected. Larger crowd than I would have thought too!
2- #40 is a workhorse! Chatham Central had no answer for him
3- Chatham Central needs to reevaluate their roster. I saw athletic kids on special teams that weren’t in the game for defense or offense. There must be a reason that I’m not aware of.
4- At first glance, I gave this game to Chatham Central. Lots of large kids on the line. Tall receivers. A quarterback with a very strong arm... Something is missing with this team. They should be better than they are.
I’m glad I went. I’ll go back again sometime when my teams have a bye week.
