Im seeing a 3 guard rotation now with Raven, Taniya, and Tessa with Edwards and Okot handling the paint. Still got length in Tac, Dauda, Makeer and McDowell coming off the bench, all are 6'1 or taller. And we have plenty of depth at guard. Kitts will definitely be missed but if any team can loose 3 superstars in Watson, Kitts, and La, its us, so I think we will be ok. Biggest question will still be center imo.
Need to see more from Tac - a lot more. It's time for her to justify her scholarship.
We got dominated in the post last year. I don't see anything that says we will be better. This team will be a sweet 16 team at best unless we have some players that play their best ball this season.
Joyce will be minimum All-SEC and may be the Player of the Year now as we have no choice but to play her 30 plus minutes. Dauda can give us 10-15 minutes between the 4 and the 5. Okot starts at the 5. Need for Tac to give us something. Missing Kitts versatility will definitely hurt, but we lace 'em up and see where this season takes us.

Agree overwhelmingly about Tac. She's on the verge of being a wasted scholarship. She needs to assert herself now. The way I see it, we have 10 bodies left, and at least two of the returners, maybe three, have not shown the ability to significantly contribute.
To be fair, Tac never got any serious minutes and Dauda was on a short lease. Dauda showed in the Oklahoma SEC Tournament game that she can developed and all she needs is confidence. Think she may be a surprise now that she knows she is in the rotation. Tac is aggressive in the small amount of time I saw in garbage time. Just doesn't know how to use that aggressiveness yet. Bigs can develop over time if they want it. We don't need a lot. Just be able to give us 5-10 minutes in spots.
Heard on the Captain Will Podcast that something may be in the works in that regard.
Well, it's for certain we won't have to wait long to see who is going to bring what. Some folks need to bring way more than they have brought.
is this a rumor? Please tell me there is substance behind this, the addition of Tournebize would instantly make us jump UConn and take us to a different level, that girl is unreal and will be the best bball player in the world when its all said and done
He didn't say who yet, but Cap is pretty plugged in when it comes to USC Women's Hoops. If he says something is going on, it is usually real and he will probably release it when he gets the go ahead.
Wonder if Raven has learn to shoot during the off season? This is critical for a successful season.
I hear she has focused on shooting all off season putting up thousands of shots, whether that translates in game remains to be seen but she and the coaches are aware she needs to do better there. However with Latson it may be in our best interest to pass and set a screen then get out of her way.
