UL choked like a dog. Pathetic effort by their receiver on the final 4th down play.

UL did not choke. It would be called choking if they did not come back from being down 18 at halftime and got their *** handed to them. Instead they came back from that deficit against the # 5 team in the country on the road and had a chance to win it with around .40 seconds to go. Quick could have made a better effort of at least getting to the first down marker. Oh well..still glad they lost..

UL fans talked smack to us when we lost to Wisconsin in the final four (basketball obviously) ...... so hell with them......... Their title hopes just got smashed into a billion pieces LOL..

Don't think I want to be petty like UofL fans and their title hopes are still very much alive. Will take a loss at Houston to knock them from the playoffs.

Clemson played well enough to win comfortably, but they made a lot of costly mistakes. Almost got them.

Their playoff hopes are dead........ the only game Clemson might lose from here on out is @ FSU ......and Clemson has the tie breaker for head to head to get into the ACC title game.. UL wont make the ACC title game and thus no chance at a playoff

Clemson would have to completely blow it and I dont see that happening

I don't know what Quick was thinking on that final play. In that situation you've absolutely got to fight and dive for the first down marker. You do NOT let yourself just get easily pushed out of bounds one yard short of it.

The "Cards" played a heck of a game and could have won it.
Can't believe how far UK has fallen behind them .Louisville is a prime example of getting a coach who knows football and a staff that can bring in guys who can play the game.
Lousiville's best player was recruited by a guy who is now WR coach at UK.

And when you look at the drops and other mistakes by UL receivers, remember that Bobby ran off that coach so he could put his damn kid on the staff.

Agree. He acted like he didn't know the game situation, almost as if getting out of bounds was the important thing.

IT depends on what else happens. UL winning out eliminates Houston. Then you have the Big XII champ (2 losses minimal IMO), and Pac 12 champ...probably Washington or bust for their playoff chances IMO. If the Pac 12 and Big 12 champ have 2 losses, I acn promises you that a 1 loss team from the Big Ten or ACC will be put in over either of those weaker conferences champions. It could be UL, it could be Michigan.

I'm of course assuming Alabama, OSU and Clemson are in the playoff already.

Yeah. Only one loss non conference champs get out in national title games/playoffs if they're Alabama (2011).

Louisville is one of the four best teams in the country...still.

I could only hope we get to point where a road game against a top 5 team comes down to a choke moment. We are to the point where covering the spread is a "win".

Plenty of you people make it hard to associate with fellow UK fans. UL did not choke, they came back from a significant deficit and could have won the game. They will beat us by a bunch if we don't get better. It doesn't make you a good UK fan to make up bs about our opponents. I don't like UL, but you have to give credit where its due. We have higher ranked classes, and they are better than us. Why? It is not because our fans smart off better than theirs.

Are you really going to criticize my grammar on one thread and then use the wrong "your" vs. "you're" on another thread?

Louisville is a good team, but I'm not sure their one of the 4 best teams in the country. You may be right, but we'll wait and see after all games are plqyed.

Though not likely, I think WI & NE are still in it too. A close loss to MI on road - like LV to Klepsin - isn't the end. We'll know bout WI in two weeks.

When your team is full of thugs like Quick, what else can you expect when a chance to do something spcial is on the line. This is the same guy who was caught with possession of a scale maskes him a dealer not a pot smoke. It takes away any positive publicity that Lamar Jackson has done.

UL is a very good team, and I think they will be hard to beat the rest of the season. Jackson just gives them so many options, especially in the red zone. Almost impossible to stop him.

Yes the Quick play will be remembered. But Clemson should have put them away several times. 2 critical turnovers within 5 yards of the goal line. And the turnover to start the 2nd half. All 3 of those were just kind of flukes.

But UL is very good. I wish UK was in their position. LOL

I think UL is still in the hunt. They're better than Bama imo. This Bama team is not winning the title this year regardless of what UL does.

Bama may or may not win a title this year, but you're on pills if you think Louisville is a better team than Bama. The QB position is the only advantage they would have over Bama.

All the defending of UL is nauseating
I wouldn't call it defending them. I would say we are giving them massive props because massive props are due. We are probably not going to make it to a bowl and they are one of the best teams in the country. Until we can get back on their level, there is no sense in getting into a pissing contest with them.
