Christ School @ Murphy

Christ School by 28 or more. I don't think they're down that much, if at all. Beat a perennial powerhouse in their opener (9 state championships overall, 3 in last 6 years) from Florida by 15 points and then won this past Friday night before the game even started (was 45-0 in 2nd Q). Christ School has the best QB in WNC with multiple legit targets to throw to and a great O-Line blocking for him. Murphy won't play another team that can throw the ball around like Christ School the rest of the season though. I'd love to see the Bulldogs pull this one off, but it's not going to happen. Props to Murphy for playing them though. You know they're gonna give the Greenies their all!

If they stay healthy Murphy's ones are as good as anybody and they're playing dang good football right now. It's at the Hill. Murphy by 6.

Saw them at the scrimmage . Running game is pretty legit. This is game of the week. Should be a great test for Murphy.
It will be a good game. I’ll say Christ university 31 university of Cherokee county 27.
If that is the score at least we won't have gotten run off the field like your Knights did I will take that as a compliment
Christ School has a D1 QB, D1 OL, D1 LB and two D1 DBs. For perspective Christ School is ranked higher on Maxpreps than Tarboro.
On paper this the best team Murphy has played since Chattahoochee GA, who also had 5 D1 players, lead by UGA All American and 7 yr NFL starter Clint Boling.
Either way I'll be pulling hard for a 'Dogs win, never count out Murphy's players and staff.

Smcdogfart we NEVER got ran off feild by this team. It was a team with more d1 playets a d some years had a big time running back. CS doesnt have a gibbs in the back field now. So NO we didnt get beat by this team.

White was recruited to NC State as a corner, but yeah he's a big time WR too.

If this game was running only I think Murphy could win but the passing game is going be the difference. Murphy will have to pressure the QB alot to have a chance in the passing department. I just dont see the Murphy DBs stopping those WRs enough to win.
This is the highest ranked team Christ School has ever had. They beat the #1 ranked 2A team in Florida by 2 TD's two weeks ago, this is their best team on paper.
Time to go slay some giants I say.
Rattler kids are from Robbinsville. Did you call them tranfers when they moved from Robbinsville to Andrews? They live at snowbird. I talked to their dad from time to time.
I cant speak on the other kid but you got bad info on the rattler boys. Being how you are wrong about 2 of the 3 I would say its likely your wrong about the 3rd also. No biggie.

Only one Rattler at Robbinsville, and he stays on Snowbird. The younger goes to Cherokee.
I dont put much faith in maxpreps. Especially early. I know what XS has at RB now vs what they did have. They will be able to run alittle because of the pass threat. Gibbs had 2,000yds. He could hurt you even without the pass threat.
I know a lot of ppl in this area have different opinions on Christ School and whether you should ever schedule them or not. Perhaps, doing so might showcase individual talent directly to them and theoretically open that door for "something to happen", so I think a lot of teams just steer clear of that situation... What's your guys thoughts?
I dont see CS doing much football recruiting inside the smc. They did get one from Cherokee this year.
Tell that to East Surry if Murphy were to go 1AA... lol
34-7 and 63-32 spin it however you want but I wouldnt have said a word if your boy wasn't taking shots at us .
It's okay, East Surry will get humbled in a big way in a few weeks when they go to Reidsville. Also, I don't think they wanna see an always improving Murphy team in the playoffs either.
As much as I hate the bravado from some of their fans I don't doubt that they can give Reidsville a good game, I mean Brevard almost beat Reidsville last year.
I love when any SMC team beats a higher classification team but this one would be a great win better than any !! I think most traditional schools in NC will be pulling for Murphy to knock off Christ School
Sit at Topton in the morning and you'll see. And I said nothing when they came to Andrews .... at age 8 or 9, because I had better things to do than worry about elementary school kids. I actually don't care now either, just get tired if you acting like Robbinsville is a genetically pure Graham County team. You guys benefit from transfers like everyone else does

Everybody knows the kids we get are born and raised in Robbinsville moved for a year or 2 then come back home.
Or they come in the 6th grade like the 2 that was mentioned above. Not HS.
