Crest surprisingly good after graduating all those seniors last year. Lead AC Reynolds 21-0.

Crest almost allowed ACR to come back and win...It was a great ball game to the end.... was it 27-21 or something like that?

Burns went up on Indy 14-0 then Indy came back to tie it.... Burns won it 21-14

Clean sweep for the county, good scrimmages... Hot as hades over there tonight..... good luck all...

Anytime you win, you have to be happy (scrimmage or not). Pryor and Hopper will be a load all year. Hope our best OL will be ok. He had some ice on his ankle and didn't play the 2nd quarter. Possibly a broken ankle. 3 interceptions from our defense was nice to see. Independence will struggle mightily this year in their 4A games. We have some work to do for sure, but I like what I saw tonight. But you can't tell much from the jamboree, especially when your first week opponent is sitting in the stands.

Indy ain’t the boys they used to be that’s for sure. Good to see Burns improving and Crest at least holding on.

Burns looked good. Folks are under estimating them but I really believe they will do well with the move to 2A. Pryor was just as good as anyone on that field tonight. I was disappointed in the showing AC had.

Crest game was not close With starters in. Give credit to Reynolds for not quitting.

Pryor will most definitely have some help running the ball this year ..... Hopper looks like he’s 100 percent and #2 can fly.

Hadn’t watched a game yet just preseason nfl on tv, I’m just kinda resaying what y’all are saying and figuring everybody is improving in Cleveland co with Shelby doing what they usually do.

I thought all cleveland co schools look pretty dang good.
But.......was the competition that bad?
Even though they were just scrimmages ,i thought the level of competition was worst ive seen last few years.

Take away an 84 yard touchdown and a Sweezy interception and the Burns game isn’t that close. Bulldogs looked impressive against a 4A school, granted Independence isn’t even close to what they were in the 2000s but I was proud of the showing. I thought ACR would have put up a better fight. I was impressed with Crest. Shelby and KM looked good too. Glad Fuller is going to be OK and won’t miss much time. Isaiah’s mom was really worried. Hope Hoyle’s ankle isn’t broken.

I’m for the Mighty Red Raiders playing all 4 and crapping in the photo op punch bowl! But, that’ll never happen! You don’t want a horny mule humping your stallions if you’re in charge of the corral!

So Lincolnton stepped up...
Funny thing is we scrimmaged them hell there on your schedule.....

Okay! See, this is what drives me nuts! You boys win 99% of your games before the other team comes out of their locker room or gets off the bus.

5 teams in the whole State will smack you in the mouth, the Mighty Red Raiders, Crest, SWO, Hibriten and Reidsville. The rest are walk throughs.

Cream puffs? Yeah we’ve had a couple down years lately. I don’t think it warrants that type of disrespect. By the way, Shelby is loaded and you all won’t stop them.

Ltown your new coach will get the winning way back. He kept the kids motivated durning the whole game. Plus they never gave up.
This is special year for Shelby. Im sure alot of teams will get ran over.. Good luck to you guys this year
