DarkHorses looked much, much better tonight. They were much more aggressive, and spirited tonight. The coaches prepared them well this week for what I thought was a better opponent in Northside. Northside is always tough. There were still a lot of penalties but honestly, unlike last week, tonight's penalties tonight's were not self-imposed. Most were phantom! To be honest, we don't know what the penalties were about they did not signify what they were, heck sometimes we fans didn't even see flags, they just marched off yardage quickly. Heck at least last week's officials huddled around to decide the call and communicated with signals, etc.
The offensive and defensive line played very well and the running backs, all of them! performed well. I don't recall a turnover. After Northside initially scoring 14 points in the 1st qtr, the DarkHorses shut them out the rest of the game.
A real bummer, Kaba got injured early in the game. Praying for him to make a complete recovery. I was impressed following the game a number of Northside players coming over to the DarkHorse bench to speak to Kaba showing their concern.
