Not much to say about this game. The Warriors are coming into the game at 0-3, while Clinton will be playing only its second game of the season after beating East Bladen in Week 2. This will be the first of three games in which Clinton will be playing unfamiliar teams. Clinton wins this one going away, 42-6.

Teams have played before but last time.was in 1984 i believe a playoff game won 35-16 by Webb.....like you said not much to talk about a good game to perhaps try some things more passing or any other things you wanna try.....get the 42 point mercy rule lead and come out injury free.....Clinton 49 Webb 6

Ryheem did very well, didn't get in. until the 4th with the game still o the line; had 84 yards on 11 carries (7.6 yards per carry)

Yeah definitely not much to discuss with this one like i said good week to establish good habits clean up the penalties we saw in the first game maybe experiment with a few things get the mercy rule playing time for younger guys and come out injury free......thru 3 game Webb has given up 99 points while only scoring 34

I think you guys win the conference because it looks like your kids have truly bought into the coaches and have no Ego's! On another note I watched your JV guys and if you all don't do something about your bland ( deer in a headlights ) head coach, you're gonna have problems with kids coming up the next years

Agreed. Last time he was HC of the JV they were putting up 50 points a game. Of course they had Ryheem Skinner, Raquan Faison, and Albert Deaver in his backfield. Maybe we just don’t have the athletes this year, but dude can coach and he knows football. Not to mention, do u really think Coach Johnson would have someone coach his JV team if he didn’t believe he was a great coach? I think not.
He coached JV from 2012-2014 i believe in that time frame 2 conference championships and had a record of 26-4....yes he had some talented kids coming up but coaching was a big part of the success....also one of the first under Lewis coaching tree to break away from that traditional offense and spread things out thats one reason why those JV teams were so lethal 2013 team was averaging 50 points a game spreading teams and having Ryheem,Tyion,Rayquan,Albert,Kavon getting them in space one on one and it was a track meet......nothing against Lewis but i wished we would of applied more of that once those guys were on varsity we did in bits and pieces but not to the amount they should of

This 2019 DarkHorse team will finish better than 7-3 I can assure you; they may and let me emphasis may lose 1 of those 3 games you mention but certainly not all 3. They are much better than that. They may run the table.
Yes remember the catch but it was the only thing he did all game. He was not a star on that team lets be serious. Also coaching talent is not hard but you find out if you can coach when you don't have it and get kids to buy in!
Well when you play with the likes of Willie Parker,Bryan Peterson,James Faison,Raphael Smith easy to get over looked but like i said great player great coach and many others would agree.....you being a JK fan should understand when you get a class or two of kids that arent as deep as normal slightly down well thats whats happening with the last 2 classes at CHS as far as football is concerned havent seen JV yet for myself but from.what i heard extremely young and the fact at the number of juniors and sophomores on varsity i would 95% of the team 9th graders.....Coach Bell is a very good coach and not just that a players coach seen many former players talk very highly of the man so to judge him off a couple bad JV games with a down class is pretty ignorant and short sided to be honest

I speaking from what I'm told, he's probably a good guy but I have a nephew and cousin playing for him now! And am told daily how they hate playing for him because he says nothing to the kids that cause problems stopping others from learning! They also talk about the lack of discipline and the fact few kids are listening to him throughout each day of practice once they break away from varsity! Comes from more than 1 young man on the team stating they're ready for basketball season! Again he probably is a good guy
Ive attended several practices over the last 2 weeks meeting with Coach Hill and seen it with my own 2 eyes your going off some hear say by some 14 year olds or maybe even just making the stuff up yourself idk but either way try it on somebody thats not around the program.....think this coversation has run its course.....judging by some of your post about JKs coaching situation your not a fan of any coaches it seems....maybe you can do better until then maybe shouldnt spend that much time critiquing the work of those who are out there......im sure Mike Bell will read this we talked about stuff said up here before well have a nice laugh over this one....good luck to JK this season

Well back to the topic at hand its Gameday with the schedule change wont be able to make the trip work schedule wise so no stats tonight atleast on my end....i will be listening in hopefully this is in the bag before halftime get the starters out injury free and get some younger guys some more good playing time....safe travels to all making that trip tonight. I too have been around the dark horse program for years and Clinton’s jv 12-14 were coached by the assistant coach’s (Fetterman, Grey, lane, bill warren and even Arnette would help w the defense) not coach bell, and the kids are accurate about him then and now, Monday-Wednesday was the assistant coaches doing the work coach bell called offensive plays on Thursday that’s all. And btw coach bell was not coach Johnson’s first option to coach jv this year, and this comes from coaches then and those that have been in the program and coach johnson!
Someone with truth and being realistic! I have been watching for 2 weeks straight to see if the kids were telling the truth and yes they are! Proof I'm there I watch all five coaches and even yesterday a new young coach came out to help on field with JV
Coach Johnson is a type A personality guy if he didnt want someone in charge of something they wouldnt be in charge of it.....and from the conversation i had with him he is all about the kids and what he is trying to build at Clinton so if it is as bad as yall CLAIM then it would of been a change........but of course everything you two have stated is BS so there that goes. @FOOTBALLFANTIC trying to stay on topic but you know Preps has this issue with these troll accounts you know how it is

how long I have followed dark horse football...hmmm.. I guess since I was 10 yrs old helping my dad and many other volunteers truck sod from the old high school lower field to the current field now, yes my whole family played for the dark horses including me, as well I have been an active booster club member and I stay in contact w past and present coaches
such a avid supporter saying we gonna lose 3 in a row all to rival schools lol...man oh man
Last I’ll say on the topic. Mike Bell is an outstanding coach. He is the reason so many kids at Clinton could’ve lost in years past even played. He has won a lot of games on the JV level. He has almost ZERO help this year as the staff is so thin in #’s and let be honest, varsity comes first in the big picture so JV gets less needed help/attention. Mike is a leader of those kids, and there is NO ONE I’d rather have coaching them than him. So, if you can’t support him and you don’t want to coach yourself if you think your better, just support him, wish the team the best wishes and keep the negativity about the program to yourself. Just my 2 cents, go horses!

Everyone is welcomed to a opinion 7-3 in the ECC nothing to scoff at but no reasoning behind the 3 loss prediction...Northside-Jax is improved but so are we.....East Duplin always a tough game but we got em at home and hopefully your not basing this off last year multiple starters out and more penalties than most teams have in a season......Wallace definitely the toughest a toss up always a competitive game and if the pattern continues since 2012 every other year the other wins so following that pattern its their year to beat us but like i said that game is a toss up and we usually play very well in the Dogpound........and as far as the opinions on the coaching situation yes DH 04 is right either get out there and lend a hand or shutup keep your nasty comments to yourself.

Your his friend and your defending him and that’s OK, Here is Just something to think about as well if he was such a”great” coach as u proclaim, why did Bob Lewis (one of the greatest in NC) replace him as the head JV coach w Scott Lewis, to only put him in charge of helping the ends, don’t u think Bob would want to keep such a “great” coach running his JV program to continue to build the varsity.....just something think about...
