Sometimes people just don't recognize a great coach until the coach has moved on.

And no one has said otherwise....i mean his name is on the field if that doesnt say appreciation i dont know what does........How about we show the same support for the current staff and get behind this team and look forward to a great season which hopefully weather will leave us be so we can play more than one game every two weeks lol

I new Clinton was back last year when they beat WRH. I could tell beating WRH meant a lot to the program.

Beating WRH meant a lot to our program? Geez.....we have beaten the "dynasty" a least every other year. Two years ago, we went down there with a .500 team and went up and down the field on you. If you didn't have #3 that game, we beat the mighty Dawgs by three touchdowns! But you had J. Williams and he was by far the best on the field that night.

Sloppy sloppy sloppy and im also thinking maybe the guys are sleepwalking cause this is a 0-3 team.......offense has been bad penalties and a interception.....defense has been great tho so their is a positive but so far a very disappointing showing thru this first quarter

First half in a word, SUCKED! Clinton should be up by double the amount that they are right now, but they have been their own worst enemy. 5 holding penalties, a block in the back has negated at least 2 touchdowns. I'm sure some of it is rust from not playing in two weeks, but some of it also appears the Horses are sleepwalking. We have the size and the speed, maybe they're taking this game too lightly.

21-0 35 seconds defense forces fumble.....to be noted even with offense sloppy play the defense has played outstanding would like to see offense wake up a bit in the 2nd half

21-0 Clinton at half....double digits in penalties on the offensive end from what it sounds like just uninspired football sloppy sloppy sloppy....but on the defensive side been flying around forced some turnovers so defensively atleast came to play but seems like offense has been left in Sampson County....95 yard and 2 or 3 other sizable plays have been cancelled out by holding and block in back penalties......game easily should be 40+-0 but here we are.......2nd half hope to see better....defense keep doing what you doing

I think we only had 1 or 2 penalties in the second half, but had way too many in the first half, which could be attributed to rust.

Ima chalk it up to rust like they pointed out....Aug 15 Terry Sanford Scrimmage two weeks no games...Aug 30th East Bladen game another two weeks Sept 12th the game tonight.

how long I have followed dark horse football...hmmm.. I guess since I was 10 yrs old helping my dad and many other volunteers truck sod from the old high school lower field to the current field now, yes my whole family played for the dark horses including me, as well I have been an active booster club member and I stay in contact w past and present coaches
uh, the current Robinson-Lewis field was never sodded, it was seeded. I know. I was booster club president in 1984 when we built the stadium. I know who did what about every aspect of that stadium. Now the baseball field was sodded a few years later and the sod was taken from the lower field of the old stadium at what is now Sunset Avenue School.

As a Warrior fan I was decently happy with the way our guys played. We are at a point where we are trying to get things turned around and headed in the right direction. It was good to see that our guys didn't give up and kept playing even though it was lopsided. We have played a tough non-conference schedule, especially in Clinton and SE Guilford. Clinton fans, y'all have a lot to be proud of. Not just in the way your team plays and the potential they have, but in how those young men carry themselves. The players and coaches were nothing but a class act.

Thanks for the kind words! I was listening to the game and I heard our announcers also mention how they were treated by the Warrior faithful-they had nothing but kind words. That QB from Webb can definitely sling it! Maybe we can play you guys next year in Clinton.

I think it should already be on the schedule for week 4 of next season. Hopefully we can keep getting better and the game will be more competitive. Either way I am excited to see what the atmosphere is on Friday night in Clinton. I think it is good for our boys to see what good football looks like. We play in a traditionally mediocre conference. I think ya'll and SE Guilford are the two best teams we will see all year. I am definitely anxious to see what we look like in conference play.

Wasnt at the game but from the sound of things your guys played hard and as a fan thats all you can ask for especially when the program has been struggling. Look forward to welcoming yall to Clinton next season and good luck to the Warriors the rest of the way

Glad to see you do say nice things sometimes. I'm impressed, didn't know you had it in you. Congrats on the win.
