What could be changing?

Thats not changing i cant remember the last time State consistently beat UNC on the hardwood...the head to head record is absolutely laughable to the point where UNC fans dont even seriously consider State a rival.....things may be different on the gridiron but i dont think any State fan can comment about the hardwood

Easy enough. They created a brand "Carolina Way" by cheating. If you want to brag about that have at it. Sac's had them by the balls and let them off because Carol Folt admitted to them about the academic cheating and promised reforms. So when the NCAA ask about the Sac's report what is their reply?? A typo. The NCAA is founded on the member institutions being honest and reporting themselves. Lying was something not considered a part of it. Enjoy reading about all those other schools that have to answer to NCAA violations as they always bring up Carolina and the lack punishment because of lying. That is your Carolina Way. Huff and puff boys.

Thompson played in a pickup game after he had signed. Dean cried his eyes out over it to get that 1 year punishment. Sounds terrible now don't it? Valvano was doing some of the same stuff Dean was doing. Signing kids that didn't belong in college. at State they flunked. dean gave out A's and had a system to hide them. Dennis Smith? There is no proof that an assistant gave Dennis money other than someone trying to cop a plea deal. Early has already interviewed with the FBI that he did not do that. Why would he?? Addidas can pay Dennis' dad all they want as long as he is the coach of the AAU team. Yea it's a corrupt system I can admit that. I'll believe Early until they can show he made that payment. If they do that he will face time for lying in a federal investigation. If he is that stupid he deserves it. I'm glad Gott was fired before he really did do something stupid. We are not Duke or Carolina. We can't hide it no better than Wofford.

Otis4411,, they're bigtime cheaters and have been since the late 1980's.

I know two people that had close involvement with David Thompson during his recruitment. One a former Crest teammate and non basketball UNC athlete that was a grade older. The other, a family friend (of mine) and businessman in Raleigh. Became friend with the athlete later and knew the family at the time. I can assure you there was a lot more than pickup basketball games going on.

That 73-74 State team does not get the credit it deserves and is somewhat forgotten.

Kaba will go where he wants, I’ll support him either way. Dark Horse 4 life. I hate NCsux with a passion but I’d still support him IF he chooses the wolfpups.

He has choices to say the least. If he stays in N.C. I’ll be shocked.

ND will be hard for him to ignore. I helped my cousin coach little league years back and we had Lee Becton. The best back to come out of eastern NC in a long time. Lou Holtz offered him at ND and his Mom asked me to talk to Lee so he wouldn't go there. She was worried they would push him to be Catholic and she knew nothing of it. I told her I didn't think they woukd do that but she needed to accept the fact he wanted to go there. I explained what ND meant in the world of college football and that she couldn't ask him to turn that down. It was hard for me cause I hated ND. Always have. I would not try to influence him anywhere. I did tell him his sophmore year he could win the Heisman. He was on the preseason list his senior year but broke his wrist really bad. Lee holds the ND record for consecutive 100 yard games. I imagine Kaba will have the same look in his eyes when you mention ND.

Hard to turn down what ND has to offer. Always play on tv (not that it matters in today's world), arguably the most storied program in college football, lifelong connections that last after football, and not to mention one of the best educations you can get.

I want to see him in CH but I bet he goes out of state. Heels are building something special though. Just got 4 star WR Josh Downs to commit. He was a supposed lock for State.

Add Virginia Tech to that list.....Kaba teaming up with Dax man that would be a combo

That would be an awesome combo, but Vtech is a dumpster fire right now, they have had quite a few NC kids either be dismissed or transfer recently, so not sure whats going on up there but the recruiting momentum is wayyyyy down at this moment, but Bud Foster is a great DC, so they have a shot with him.

Yea his dad played at state and even he said, nah son go be a Tar Heel!

He was never a lock for State. They tried to get him but his Uncle was hired at Carolina and all those other perks are too much to expect him to ignore. Hopefully he gets a better go around than Mike Hughes, Erik HighSmith, etc.

I may go to WRH to watch Clinton and the Bulldogs slug it out again. That was a slugfest last year. I was glad I went. I still think the PF penalty was wrong to call that night. The kids were celebrating a huge tackle for a loss to win. They were not trying to run into the rb. He jumped up right in front of them. No way I would call a penalty in that situation. It was still a barn burner of a game.

And that tackle wouldnt have "won" the game Clinton was still in Reid Taylors FG range down by 2.....also WRH had multiple chances to win the game up 22-8 at one point and up 30-22 with minutes remaining allowing Clinton to convert a long 4th down play with a incredible catch by Kaba in what double coverage.....also dropping a wide open TD in the final seconds....Wallace had their chances i dont care to hear about one judgement call which turned out to be the correct call anyway......lets talk about the holding call WRH got away with in 2017 on the game winning TD on the block that sprang Javonte Williams Wallace player had our defensive end Zion Autry by nothing but jersey

Nah it was terrible. I'm sure there were other calls that could have been called during the game but in the end the refs decided that game. You just don't call that type of thing to decide a game.

That right there my friends is what we call an argument ender! Game, set, match!

Exactly...its easy to blame the refs and overlook all the mistakes made that had nothing to do with the guys in the zebra shirts......that one call which was the correct call didnt make or break that game

What other perks? The hot women? Beautiful campus? The fact it isn’t state? Please elaborate.

Most definitely on the winning play by WRH in 2017. It was flagrant and WRAL had it all plainly on their newsreel
