Not sure if this game will be played next week, depending on what Dorian decides to do. This game will be a battle of the Carolinas, with SC commit Mohammed Kaba of Clinton vs UNC commit Ja'Qurious Conley of Northside. Both teams have shown the ability to put up points along with stingy defenses. This will be yet another battle in this now 2A/3A rivalry.

With that being said, I think Dorian will pull this out, 1-0.

Yea seriously looking like this game wont get played hopefully Dorian continues his eastern shift and stays out to sea.....i know some people.outside Jacksonville have talked down on Northside-Jax but i think they have a solid team compared to the past 2 seasons and for us its always been a tough game going to their place...Clinton's last win at Jacksonville came during the Eastern title game in 2006 my senior year so its been a min since we won a game at Northside

Yeah we've been in a drought at Northside, although we have no trouble winning across town at Southwest(just ribbing you guys) LOL!! If this game is missed, hopefully it could be made up, we can't afford another 8-9 game regular season.

Exactly now not rescheduling that Cape Fear game is alot bigger.....only reporting 9 games games hurt us in seeding last year....praying right now storm goes another direction or we dont take a direct hit....but if the game is not played Friday which i doubt it does then hopefully we atleast do everything to make it up........SN:Cape Fear and 71st had a thriller last night would of liked to have played that gane vs Cape Fear probably would of been really good

Yes, that would have been a great game! Like I said, Cape Fear's secondary looked suspect, so we probably would have had a very good night passing.

Passing looked ok last night i mean we only threw it 7 times but timing gets better with outside WR Williams has good speed and height at 6'3......if Faison or Simpson have a LB on them in the slot ill take that match up all day.....Faison literally shook a kid out of his cleats last night on the way to that TD

Would love to see some RPOs out of some of those formations defense after while really bites on those runs....also would like to see King and Smith read some of those better and keep both can run the ball aswell.......come the Northside-Jax game dont throw it in Conley's direction kid has great ball skills and speed and athleticism to take it to the house

I agree. I’m sure our receivers will have a mismatch in most of our games.

hopefully, we can move it up or back pending on when the bad weathjer arrives. No, we don't need another 8-9 game season, and the hurricane season is young.

Alot of coastal games are getting moved up i think this one will be played early aswell.....challenging big game for a short week....Think this will be both teams first real test....The late David Lee said Northside-Jax was going to be alot better this year and i believe him we better come ready to play

Son? I’m not your son. But like you I support my horses, all of them. Wasn’t trying to call anyone out but it just seemed like a shot had been taken. I just felt the need to make it clear, let’s support all our players, staff, admin. Their jobs are hard, as I’m sure you know, dad.

Still no decision? I guess this game is gonna be cancelled as well. One game has already been missed and not made up, we can’t afford to miss another game!!!

People outside of J'vlle may not be looking at Northside, they returned alot and got some good transfers in, they could be undefeated in the regular season and make alot of noise in the play-offs

That’s one thing Jacksonville schools have the luxury of that Clinton doesn’t see a lot of-transfers. Sometimes it can hurt also with good players transferring out as well. This will be a great game between two evenly matched teams.

Northside has always been tough. In 05 with the championship and o6 we had to beat Northside for the eastern championship and they were in our conference. My son who played said Northside was always big and tough to play. Fortunately, we beat them both times then. In o6 they had beaten us in the regular season but for the eastern campionship, the DarkHorses won 25-0.
