I saw where the kid that played QB against us last season is playing RB this season good size kid at 210lbs.....i believe its going be similar to last year ill be surprised if either team scores over 20
Yeah, I think they had to move some pieces around since Justice Galloway-Velazquez's brother transferred to one of the private schools in Fayetteville. He was expected to be a main cog in the Colts's offense and defense.

Fayobserver writer predicts Cape Fear 21 Clinton 20 and a big night for the Cape Fear RB.....Simmons has Clinton by 1......like i said above im expecting a smashmouth grind it out defensive type game.....whoever wins doesnt win by more than a score.....could be wrong but well see cant wait for tomorrow night this is truly my favorite time of year

If CF scores 21 points I’ll be shocked. Our Defense is supposed to be even better than last year.

I think you're right. The Fayetetteviile Observer knows nothing. No one is going to have a big game on this defense, no one!

Yea heard Hobbtons QB is a stud. Like 5 rushing TD’s and 2 ints for the defense. Kid is a baller.

I liked him last season when i saw him in the Jamboree.....Hobbton has a good group could surprise some folks in the 1A east but that defense gonna have to improve

Well been clear for the most part in Clinton all day but just checked the WRAL app line of thunderstorms approaching then a lil gap and another line behind that HSOT.com said most ADs will be making decisions on play or no play by 3pm so guess we will see

Well not ideal conditions in Clinton at the moment rain has slowed down significantly but lightning still present in the area which is the thing they worry most about....at the stadium no one has entered yet.....Cape Fear like last time 8 buses worth players and band members

Now a new debate gets sparked...does the NC football season start too soon with mid late August being plagued by late summer Thunderstorms

Maybe...especially in the South. It has been fine for the most part this week, then it seems that there are thunderstorms every Friday. But for now the weather is fine up here in the Triangle, so I'm watching Lee Co. Vs. EE Smith on Highschoolot.

Holding here in Clinton till 8 when they will make a decision i doubt this gets played just as i was typing this huge flash of lightning nearby.....Probably Monday

WRAL says that the storms down there are moving to the East at around 25 mph, and I don't see any lightning on the radar.

Yes sir it is, especially with the schools' proximity. Goldsboro and New Bern are completing their game this morning at 9 a.m.

Key thing is both staffs have to agree....im willing to bet Cape Fear staff wasnt feeling Monday with a big game against Seventy First next Friday but hell idk who are we to say what happened....hindsight is 20/20 in these situations but moving it up to Thursday now looks like it would of been the best option but then again they were able to get 3 quarters in a couple miles down the road in Spiveys Corner so just unlucky night for us rain stopped but lightning just wouldnt go away
