Can't help but wonder if he were from Ohio, Georgia, or Tennessee he would have a UK offer.
I think this has a lot to do with us making GAA an OT full time.

You can't run a 4 star back behind a 2 star line, but you sure as hell can run a 2 star back behind a 4 star line all day everyday.

Not offering Bentley is a bit hard to figure out! A smart (offered by Yale), 5.6, 3-star, #2 prospect in the state, with good size and a nice offer sheet and we don't seem to have room for him???? You can never have enough good linemen (offensive and defensive)!

Earlier in the year, the rumor was that we had depth at the guard spot. Since we moved GAA to OT we now have some room.

That's a long ways off. It's not as if that means his recruitment is over. Being accepted academically by a school mean zilch. He can qualify most anywhere, especially if he has the academics to garner an offer from Yale
Thats true. He may change his mind but if you look at his Twitter account you quickly learn thats highly unlikely. He literally just posted his acceptance letter and already told the staff he's enrolling in January. Again, anything can happen but unless someone has direct inside information there's not even a hint of evidence for anyone to think he's wavering.
UK's looking at a lot of OL types. Go look at the vid of a guy from TN named Calbert. Big guy who can really run, late bloomer with nice offers.

Why would UK bother if it were a done deal? Maybe he prefers to play on a team with some class.
Probably depends on whether he wants great academics like he can get at Yale or UK or wants a better shot at the NFL which is what UlaSmell offers.

My concern is why didn't we offer him in the 1st. place? If coach Stoops informed that we were short on numbers as a reason for not offering him, (?), that's on Coach Stoops! My prediction is his future play vs UK will come back to haunt UK!!!!

Pure rumor, I heard only d-one offer at the time was from UWV but Cole was hoping to get one from UK. History will verify most Eastern Kentucky guys hope to receive offer from The CATS! Imo Cole has size for SEC lineman. Given the way Big George, Logan Stenberg, and Bunchy Stallings have developed and now are positive contributing I hope CATS staff can flip Cole!
Let's put this to rest 100% Cole ain't interested in UK. UL was one of 4 schools on his list he wanted. When he got the offer he jumped on it. Since then 2 of the others have offered and he hasn't even mentioned them offering on Twitter. He is 100% happy and satisfied with Louosville. Ready to win a national championship at Louisville
