I dont think anyone is an idiot for not wanting him. I wanted him but thats one mans opinion. I was just adding in tendencies I saw in folks over my years of coaching. I also believe he took a tail whoopin and Im pretty sure it was called for.

That said you listed all of his wrongdoings. What are the chances he screws up again? IMO this is his last stop and had he signed here we would have been his last stop. From what I can gather his main goal as agreed upon with his family was to coach as close t Louisville as possible, possibly at Louisville if the chips fell and they did.

I just think were holding ourselves to a set of standards that our current opponents are not. Weve been in a street fight for as long as I can remember in the SEC and were showing up with sticks and stones while they have 17 in the clip.

Just the opinion of someone who wants a legitimate winner before I die. I know youre in the same boat, were likely close in age. I also seem to remember you sating you were ok if he was hired so you get what Im saying. We missed a chance to land a stud coach (between the lines) and to block out opposition from signing him. Double whammy.
With you...totally don't understand why more folks don't get this!

Yeah, I get it too man. It's a tough spot to be in. At the time I was of the mindset if they wanted to hire him, the fine, I'd be ok with it. But if not, I understand why they wouldn't so I wouldn't be mad later on when he was tearing it up at another program as he is now at Louisville. So I don't get frustrated that we didn't hire him now when I look back at the chance. There weren't many other options for him either so we weren't the only ones who didn't offer him. Regardless, if stoops continues improving this team and can get over the hump turning this program into an sec contender, none of it will matter.
LONG shot on MS, but I guess anything is possible. Guess we have no choice. We will know by 2018-2020

Yes we are Coles parents. Our boys have been at Belfry since 06. Been on cats pause from the first time someone said Coles name was getting mentioned on here. Just wanted to see what was being said at the time. Was told a couple of days ago people was saying he was going to flip to UK, just wanted to let it be known ain't no way. We appreciate coach Schlarman and believe he is a good Oline coach. But we feel the Louisville system is best for Cole and believe Coach K at Louisville can get him to the next level.

We would welcome your input on the Louisville Rivals board. Give us a try sometime. And please relay our thanks to Cole for chosing Louisville. I look forward to watching his progression as a Card.

Alternately, you can just envision UofL Athletics as Otis from the Andy Griffith Show, if you prefer.[/QUOTE]

How's the investigation going?

Steelers still believe that the Hall was for soc hops and only had cheerleaders there for dancing. He's still mentally in denial, and everything is a lie.

You cannot be serious comparing Yale academics and UK, They are not in the same universe.[/QUOT

You mean Yale doesn't use the same books we use, and our teachers at UK are just not as smart as Yale's teachers. If a student graduates with a 4.2 and 36 on the SAT, and goes to UK, does that mean he's not as smart as the student who graduates with a 3.8 and 34 on the SAT, and they both went to the same high school.

OLD STOLL FIELD GUY!
