Don't ya think the Big 12 decided to stand pat because Texas runs the Big 12 and wanted Houston's coach and the thinking was if Houston could get in the B12 he might stay there? Hate to go all conspiracy and what not.....heh

Big XII media deal is a guaranteed 25 mil a year for each extra team they add. If they bring in 10 more teams, ESPN has to cut a check for an extra 250 mil. I don't even think it's a rumor at this point, I thought it was substantiated. ESPN paid them some hush money to keep them from expanding rather than paying 25 million for Cincy v Iowa State Football.
