Concerning Ward and his announcement

When Ward announces for the bears in a few days everyone needs to punch their wives, butt their head against the wall, whatever they need to do. Just don't get on this site and start throwing a tantrum. It will be printed off and used. There will be time for things to change and people to change their minds so don't be that person that killed any chance we might have. The bottom line is that the bear alumni have done what they do best and that is make it hard for a kid to tell them no (remember his brother is a walk-on). The problem they will have though, is when their players hear them playing old confederate songs and waving rebel flags and celebrating the old south at every turn, the player's hearts won't be in it. Add that to the fact that they have a high school head coach and a very questionable dl coach and I'm not too concerned with them. Give them a few more years to wither on the vine and it will get easier and easier for us to deal with them.

they cant be selfish and make decisions just for themselves- they have the pressure of the family on their shoulders also.

and it is why they suck *** regardless of how high their payroll is. The average kid (black or white) going into college is going to be turned off by what oxford is unless they were raised in that environment. The bad thing for Ward is that if he chooses the bears, he will be groomed by a guy with a famous name and a rap sheet and that is it. He chooses us and he will be groomed by Wilson who has made a name for himself.

by going somewhere that will groom him for the NFL. He needs to talk to Big Pern and Fletcher. Their families will be set for life now, not just for the next few months.<div>
</div><div>I agree with Dirty... Everyone needs to just let this play out until signing day. CW still has a chance to make the right decision.

but Ole Miss has Willis, Greg Hardy, Peria Jerry, Jamarca Sanford, and a few others playing in the NFL as well.

One advantage we have though is our current coaching staff coached White, Wright, Chaney, McPhee and soon to be Cox and Banks.

This is nothing like CJ who was committed to us for over a year. Channing has never even named a leader let alone commit to us, so if he decides to go to OM, we'll just have to try to make him regret it on the field. To throw a message board tantrum over a guy that was never ours to begin with would be ridiculous. Like Lopez said, don't be that guy.

I still think we have a great shot at landing Ward. I think we have got a real game changer in Chris Wilson when it comes to recruiting. We need to pay this guy and make sure he stays a Dawg. Anybody that comes in and lands a class like he has committed right now, can certainly land Ward despite the Bear dollars. For some reason I still think Ward ends up a Dawg. If not, we will be fine...If so, he will be great and so will our Defense.

Just a hunch based off of what Wilson has shown us so far

Or is it on the fantastic freshmen track?

Oh wait, it's really the "I'm sitting home while MSU fans have taken over Downtown Nashville" music. This post coming to you from outside the Wildhorse Saloon *****. About to head back up 2nd to hit another pre bowl bar. Have fun cheering for Wake Forest today.

you have to play "in the arms of an angel" by Sarah Mclachlan in the background while you read it.
Based on your 6-18 record over the last two yearsI bet thatsthe song yourJohnnyRebs run out of the tunnel with, if not it should be.

I have said it for years the black bearsare 90% perception and 10% substance. You 17'ers dont give a damn how you play as long as Biff and Ty have there bow tie and red pants onin "grove" all is well.

Where did you get this? Ithought they gave up the confederate symbols. Have they brought them back?

we were blasting good music and the stadium was rocking (which was pretty often). All of a sudden, the bears kicked a field goal and their band played some confederate war song or something. I'm an older 17'er and even to me that **** just seemed strange for a football game. They can't totally lay down their "old south" traditions. Oxford wouldn't be oxford if they did and that is what they take pride in.

I was unaware that Forward Rebels was a Confederate war song.... <div>
</div><div>It's about as much of a Conf. war song as whatever RattleRattle Here Comes the Cattle fight song MSU plays as every school's fight song has the same general meaning with different wording. But you just go one being the slack jaw that you are.</div>

Buying recruits typically works, but if that doesn't work we show them six pack threads also to seal the deal
