Just came across this article and would like to say congratulations to these two young men for getting the opportunity to attend a pro day. Both of these young men have put in a lot of hard work to get to this point and have made our communities proud. A lot of times we get caught up with wins and losses but this is what its all about right here folks, good luck to these young men and I hope they both get the opportunity to play on Sunday. I'd also like to congratulate former Lincolnton standout Darian Roseboro, who should also have a shot at the pros, on his great career at NC State. He and Ty have both made Lincolnton proud.

He doing good set to graduate in May. He told me he will miss game days but won’t miss the getting up at 5:30 for weightlifting then class most of day about 20 min to eat in the middle of those classes then after class football meetings then practice then study hall getting back to his room around 10pm just to do it all over again the next day five days a week. He said these next couple of months is the first time in 4 years he gets to actually just be a student. Good thing is he will be coming out with a zero balance. Will owe absolutely nothing.

The life of a college athlete is very much a full time job, but coming away with a degree without owing any money is the goal. Congrats to him and good luck with his future endeavors.
