obviously, uk probably has a chance of being preseason ranked depending on who pope can bring in, but has there ever been a time in the last 50 years, since crum started coaching, that both schools aren't ranked in the preseason? going to be a fun year

They'll give UK somewhere 20-25 regardless of roster, higher with a few big commits. Continuation of being a prove-your-way-out program.
I know it'll be the first time since 1922 where the two schools will face each other, with neither having a national champion as coach.
that's going deep into the record books right there, nice pull!
if they don;t retain anyone and seems most recruits have asked for release, if they are not stacked, they won;t be expected to finish better than 5th in the SEC behind UT, Ark, A&M, Alabama. not sure if that's worthy of top 20, maybe, we'll see. but so far in CBS power rankings for next year, they are not in the top 25.
