i know nothing of Crest but Hickory hasn’t really played anyone this year that can pass the ball. They played a real weak schedule. Conference was super weak. Statesville gave them there best game in regular season but Statesville wasn’t any good either one of the worst offenses I’ve ever seen from them. I mean Fred T Foard held Statesville to 180 yds total offense . It will be interesting to see how they do against a formidable offense. Hickory offense is the real deal very impressive. It’s definitely good enough to win the ship. I’m just curious how they will do against a team that can run and pass.

Roy told him SC needed to offer this kicker by the name of Ryan Succop. Lou told him they don't offer kickers. Lou called Roy later and said, we have offered a kicker. 
Succop kicked for KC for years.. Brandon Spikes and company used to wear Hickory out then Succop would boot a long field goal and be the highlight of the gameCrest played in a con with Hickory. Asheville had a heck of a team that season.
It’s not real big but it’s really nice tho .. Dudley filled it up last year. Lots of room for chairs tho
Idk about bags but they do make you empty everything out of pocket and walk through metal detectors. Takes forever… get there really early and it’s not bad . That’s what I did last year

Question is how many fans will Hickory stadium hold. Everybody and their brother will be wanting to see this game. Day after Thanksgiving makes this one special. Should be a good one.
There will be more Shelby football “fans” at Crest/Hickory game than at the Shelby home playoff game
If a single Shelby fan shows up he/she would have more teeth then the rest of the visitors added together has....
Thinking back now , No Shelby fans will be out of county , they would need permission to travel out of county
It happens almost weekly I see former Shelby greats/fans at Crest games..often with Shelby gear on ,because yall playing TJ are somebody that night

Best advice I can give you guys there is to try to park on the street in front of the school. There are lots of spaces there and you will probably get out easier. Failing that, there are parking lots across the street you can use.

Hickory has also played some Cupcakes too, 7 of their 12 games have been against teams 4 wins or less. 6 of those 7 wins was against teams with 1 or 2 wins. Hibriten 2-7, Newton Conover 2-7, Cox Mills 2-9, N. Iredell 2-8, W. Iredell 2-8, Foard 1-9. Good Grief they might as well be playing Saint Agnus Sisters of The Poor!!! lol
Parking lot next to the stadium is not bad but probably advisable to get their early to get good parking next to the field
I like parking on the roadside in front of the school … I walked right to my car and left both games I attended last year but I was really early to the games .. I wanted a good seat and parking
