Overall, Iowa State was more aggressive by far. Just from a production standpoint here are the numbers:

0 tds - Iowa 6 guys, Iowa State 4 guys
1 td - Iowa 3 guys, Iowa State 0 guys
2 tds - Iowa 0 guys, Iowa State 3 guys
3+ tds - Iowa 1 guy, Iowa State 3 guys

So 6 Iowa State wrestlers scored multiple takedowns (Bastida-3, Frost-3, Echemendia-4, Zerban-2, Gaitan-2, Elam-2), while only 1 Iowa wrestler scored multiple. Zerban had the only near-fall points (3) in the dual and in my opinion Gaitan should have been awarded 2 as well in OT.

We will be in our gas tank finishing in our training cycle. They are going to focus on full blast for 7 minutes and takedowns, not pinning combos.

Well they've rev share $ and most programs don't. As a university they weren't gonna raise the full 20.5 which allowed them to raise $ and donate it and get it back in rev share. Iowa st took $ from reserves to get to 20.5 . You gotta be able to trust the AD and administration to do that. Some institutions would keep that $ and not give it back to wrestling

It will be Frost. Apparently he was sick according to Dresser.

Should be a great dual.

Spratley vs Poulin- 3-0 OSU
Ronnie or Jax vs Frost but I'll use Ronnie just because- 3-3 (that being said I think Ronnie could jump levels)
Vega vs Echemendia. Ech will be the closest thing to Mendes that Vega will see. I'm going Vega- 6-3 OSU
Jamison vs Frost- I expect Tagen to come out and look like 1st semester Tagen on full feed- 9-3 OSU
Robideau vs Zerban- did anyone watch Zerban and think anything other than LROB majors? 13-3 OSU
Lockett vs ?- 18-3 OSU
Facundo vs Gaitan- By then Facundo's finishes will be on point he's getting so much better. 21-3 OSU

I'll skip the rest. Cowboys win :cool:
