Morning D-leaguers!

38° this morning with a high near 70° expected.

Last night went off fairly well testing for my "masters" if you will. Did not get to spar because the test lingered too long into the night so we will spar another day. Still wore me out anyway and I slept in this morning and did not wake up until 0515. Yeah, that late. It is for me anyway. Pictured above is me, my sons, and Simon the Alaskan Malamute circa 1990.

All Hallows Eve for those keeping tabs so be safe out there Boils and Ghouls and know that God is in control.

When I typed that the only games I could think of were the 2 listed and the 97 championship game. The last one was surrounded by 96 & 98 so I guess it wasn't TOO bad. :)

Good morning everyone.

We looked as bad last night against Georgetown as we looked good against Perdue. The answers were on the bench, but that has me concerned. It looks like a few players will not get the PT that they hoped because they can't stay in front of their man.

I'm still surprised and impressed with Moreno's play so far.

@AustinTXCat Have you ever been to Trader Village in Grand Prairie TX? I am headed there tomorrow with a couple of old Army buddies and then to some big sports bar/complex (not sure what it is called) to watch the Sunday night game. The next day to some other sights in Dallas before the Monday Night Football game which one of the guys has tickets to because he has season tickets to all Dallas home games.

Oddly enough, he lives in Lawton OK and still buys season tickets to Cowboys football games. The drive is about 3 hours from Lawton to Dallas and he goes to most of them and the ones he can't, he sells online or people here who want to go. That's a fan.

Trader Village is a big flea market with just about anything you could imagine. Did not even come close to seeing it all.

In hotel room in Dallas right now waiting on comrads to get up and then sight seeing until late afternoon when we go to a sports complex next to AT&T stadium that has bars, restaurants, and shops to checkout before the MNF game

Happy Tuesday. Opening day for what we can reasonably dream will be one of those special Kentucky basketball seasons we'll remember forever.

Beautiful fall day in downtown DC. Still passing National Guard soldiers on my morning walks. Hope all is well with you folks.

Good morning from ATX.

Wife rushed to hospital yesterday afternoon while I received Chemo infusion. In fact, I left treatment facility and arrived 30 minutes before ambulance. She's stable. Go up for a visit after work. She's been really weak lately.

I'll check back later. Happy Hump Day.

Bernie -- Glad you got good news with the mass being benign.

Austin - prayers sent for your wife - and you, as you continue your therapy.

Had to work late last night and missed the Cats. The Rafters crowd was underwhelmed. That probably means nothing. I hope we get to see this full team - Quantaince included - playing together, healthy, before the end of the year. That may not be likely.

Busy work day today. I hope it is a good one for all of you.

My son just passed his road test to get the federal government Commercial Driver's License certificate. the Interior Deprtment is recruiting him to be on a Western Region Fire Fighting team and wanted him to have this in case the Government job freeze ever lifts and he can move to that job.

This has been a busy week, and the time has passed fast. Beautiful weather in the east, and I'm looking forward to the weekend.

Still sweating out the insurance companies on my accident from ten days ago. To recap: I was stopped in a traffic backup on I-270 in Maryland, and a van plowed into me from behind, slamming me into the car in front. AS of now, the guy who hit me's insurance hasn't accepted responsibility, and the woman I was shoved into, with no way to avoid her, has gone after my insurance company. Quite a mess.

Nothing as bad as yours, but back in the eighties, I was second in line at a stop sign. A guy that only had one leg and no insurance rearended me and pushed me into the front car.

Happy Friday folks.

Big night, I hope, for the Cats. We need to see a version close to the promise this group seemed to have when assembled last spring. WIth Jaland Lowe cleared to play, this is the best chance we've had to see that.

Busy work day. The whole insurance drama still hanging over my head. But it should be a nice weekend. Hope it is for all of you.
