Signals Barker may not be healthy long-term to me. With Barker, I'd prefer another DLman.

Over on 247, Crystal Ball picks for Clark to verbal to UK have trickling in for the past week or so. Probably a sign that Jones is pretty solid with the Tide.

If he was good enough for Ohio State to recruit, then he is definitely good enough for us to take a chance on. We should know by now, if you don't have a good QB, and a good backup QB, your in "Deep ****."

OLD STOLL FIELD GUY!

He verbal led to OSU as a high school freshman, before he was ever even rated by recruiting services. He committed because it was his dream school and all they had to do was show him any kind of love. I have to wonder if he was just recruited over before he ever got there or how much his rankings were tied to the fact he was an OSU verbal. I hope he's as good as his rankings indicate.

Ohio State runs a dual-threat offense mostly. Not conducive to his style of play, and both he and Meyer recognized that. The kid didn't get an offer from tOSU early on due to a lack of talent. To suggest otherwise is comical. There are a number of good football programs taking a flyer on the kid now that he decommitted from tOSU. Only reason he wasn't recruited more heavily over the past 3 years was due to the fact that nobody felt they would be able to pull him away from there, and they would probably be right, he has a giant Ohio State tattoo on his arm.

The reason that UK is perceived to be so far ahead is because Vince Marrow never stopped recruiting him, despite his commitment to Ohio State.

I believe he won a state championship or two. It would be nice to have a talented QB that has a winning pedigree. Winners are a must to change the UK football standing.

Hated leaving. Didn't think he fit into their system as well as he'd hoped iirc.
