Will announce his commitment on 10/22. Could be a good day for the Wildcats.
Will be as good as the OL permits him to be.....same as the rest of our QB's!Will be good on the field and also a factor in holding the class together. I think he is the type to bond with the other guys and recruit via social media
Isn't Walker such?I hope I'm wrong on how he will fit into this offense. Seems like a duel threat QB fits better
Yes he is, his video highlights make him look like Condredge Holloway, in the HS games anyway. He is sure an elusive QB.Isn't Walker such?
I would feel great about this if Wills would commit with him. He's not a Lamar Jackson, but he isn't a statue back there by any stretch of the imagination. Hopefully, will be a great get for UK, and he was a strong recruiter while committed to Ohio State. With him, Walker Wood (who IS a DT QB) and Jarren Williams (2018), UK will have a strong stable of QBs for the foreseeable future.
So you're saying OSU wouldn't be top 2-3 in 2017 recruiting w/o his help? He's not a Lamar Jackson, but he isn't a statue back there by any stretch of the imagination. Hopefully, will be a great get for UK, and he was a strong recruiter while committed to Ohio State.
Have we ever had a Heisman QB or Heisman anything?Any chance Lamar Thomas can go back to south Florida and get another heisman QB for us ? College = dual threat for success
We came very close with Tim Couch!!!Have we ever had a Heisman QB or Heisman anything?
Yeah Couch finished 5th in 1998, I believe Babe Parelli finished 3rd in 1951.We came very close with Tim Couch!!!

FWIW Alabama never won a Heisman until 2009 with Mark Ingram, then their 2nd one last year with Henry.
A dual threat quarterback would fit the read option style Eddie Gran is using with Steve Johnson. Gran is not primarily a read option coordinator. Gran is using read option with Johnson because that's his best chance to win with Johnson. Gran is a legitimate P5 coordinator. He works with the personnel on hand. If he builds around Barker, Hoak, or Clark, he will transition back to pro-style, which is his preference anyway.I hope I'm wrong on how he will fit into this offense. Agree. The question I have, have always had, is can UK win consistently with a conventional pro-style offense?A dual threat quarterback would fit the read option style Eddie Gran is using with Steve Johnson. I suppose that's a reasonable question, but the same questions can be asked about any scheme or system. We won in a pro-style system with Woodson, Tamme, Burton, Johnson, Lyons. To win in a conventional pro-style system, you need a bunch of fast receivers, a solid offensive line, and a solid quarterback with a good frame and a big, accurate arm. If we sign Clark and another offensive tackle, that's the kind of offensive roster we will have. Then it's a matter of player development.Agree. Stoops best and only endorsement he NEEDS at this point is winning...Would be a good get and also a great endorsement for stoops.
Maybe if Mike Leach is the HC..Agree. The question I have, have always had, is can UK win consistently with a conventional pro-style offense?
I'm so tired of hearing this Mike Leach babble. Get over it, he is not now or ever going to be the UK head coach.Maybe if Mike Leach is the HC..
