Not if he values a great education. Life is about more than football. It’s clear his chance at the NFL is nonexistent so an education moves up the goal list.
Eh, I think we've seen from recent events that those schools are not all they are portrayed to be. Clearly. If students have time to be camping out and protesting all the time.

Yes, you can get a fantastic degree in Self Exploration with a focus on Ecopolitical Analysis.
In today's world from a football perspective, it would not surprise me to see him get playing time, that Yale degree, and then hit the portal again, and play up again, given he performs well at Yale.
Our last transfer from Yale the OG Nick Gargiulo, worked out, ended up as a NFL Draft pick, a 7th rounder, but was drafted none the less.

I can't understand why someone has to say anything negative about where he is going. He chose to come here and we chose him to be a part of our team. He was active in recruiting other players for USC. Didn't work out.

I don't know why someone would mock Yale, but since you asked and he has had me using the search function today because he cant recall his preseason predictions from last year,
he went to Bob Jones for undergrad and Clemson for grad school.Happy for Reno. Best of luck to him.

If 18 had to complete the enrollment application to schools like Yale, he would see it differently too. However, education is not respected like it used to. People out here with barely an Associates Degree will argue with me about the Constitution.

I went to a small Christian college and then a large state school for grad school. Numerous of my colleagues went to Ivy league schools. I had to train a Harvard grad. I look at them and think "what was the point when we ended up at the same spot?"
My brother is a lawyer. Went to state college and then University of Cincinnati for law school, which is an ok law school. He oversees a team of legal counsel which contains numerous Ivy League grads.
The Ivy League brand just ain't what it used to be. Those enamored with the Ivy League don't understand education. It's the same people who put high octane gas in cars that don't need it.
Nonetheless, a degree from Yale is still pretty impressive to have on a resume. I think we all see that it's not just the Ivy League that isn't what it used to be, but higher education as a whole. It doesn't help that Ivy League schools have become so radically liberal. In the current landscape, unless you're very intentional about studying something applicable, it is most likely not worth the time and absolutely not worth the debt you take on.
What's up. I have been around. Usually post more during football and basketball season. Went through a trash year with the Men's Basketball team. So, that limited some of my posting.
There is a difference between being enamored and respect. I don't think anyone here is enamored with the Ivy Leagues. You can get an education in a host of places. My Dad taught math to a gentleman that ended up being a NASA astronaut at the old segregated schools. The guy went to NC A&T before ending up at MIT. So, a school is just one stop in a person's journey. However, your post borders on unnecessary disrespect seemingly because you don't like their politics and because you were higher up on the managerial ladder than a person or two that attended those schools. I didn't attend those schools, but I was accepted to one on the lower end of the Ivy League spectrum (Cornell). I respect their journey and don't allow politics to color my view of them.
