Much better than I thought it would be. Lots of sick humor, not fit for kids at all. Not a Ryan Reynolds fan, but this fit him.

Just finished watching. One of the most enjoyable movies I've seen in a long time.
Agree. Liked it. Didn't love it.
It was definitely a different kind of superhero movie.
Thought it was the funniest movie I've seen in a long time, liked how it poked fun at itself starting with the opening credits, until the very end and the homage to one of the great flicks of the 80's.
Funny thing, when it was over my 15 yr old asked me if I got the "references"? I had to laugh, as I probably got far more of the "references" than he did, given most of them related to movies, songs, tv shows, etc. primarily from the 80's long time before he was born. In fact, I had to explain a few to him.
I also liked that Ryan Reynolds allowed himself to be part of the overall "joke" and let the producers and directors poke fun at him as well. And what can I say about Morena Bacarrin? I've been in love with her since the days of Firefly and I swear she must drink virgin's blood and sleep in a hyperbaric chamber as she hasn't seemed to have aged a day in the 14 yrs since it first aired.

The animated part in the ending with the guy stroking off the unicorn's horn, it shooting something out of the horn, corresponding with $ bills shooting out its ***.... took me about a second and then I couldn't help by laughing myself to tears, when it hit me: The MONEY SHOT!
