@brtinla did you finally rope the ole lass into marrying you? If my memory serves me correctly you were quite smitten with her. Sorry if I'm mistaken.

HAHA. We still correspond. I think their are about 60 of us that keep in touch with her and each other on a secret Facebook group. Her mom and aunt and sisters are all on it. Great people.

Its not the same as when she was in county. We could have video visits, which were awesome. They lasted 20 minutes but it seemed like 20 seconds. Jodi is great fun and has an awesome sense of humor so we spent the whole time laughing and cracking each other up. Now their are no video visits available, its just letters that take forever for the aholes to give to her.

The magazine article is pure fiction.

Very intrigued! So, are the 60 people family or e-friends or a combination of both? Either way it sounds like a solid support system.

Her mom, Aunt and sister are on there. Everyone else is a friend/supporter.

Didn't she testify she was the way she was because her mom abused her and her mom countered by saying she was a mental case?

Must make for great reunions.... online, of course.

Oh, ok.

Hybristophilia is your clinical term, more commonly known as 'Bonnie and Clyde Syndrome.'

http://www.azcentral.com/news/articles/20130204arias-murder-trial-abusive-past.html
Nurmi asked Arias about physical abuse by her mother and father. Arias turned red and at one point began to tear up as she described welts that formed after repeated beatings from her mother — who sat stoically in the front row of the courtroom gallery, staring at her daughter and taking notes. Her mother wore a necklace with the word “Mom.”

Sandra Arias says on the tape: 'Jodi has mental problems, Jodi would freak out all the time. I had quite a few of her friends call and tell me I needed to get her some help.'
