James Franklin gets his bell cow win.
I'll worry about this maybe being good news for Louisville tomorrow.

Good to see Ohio State go down at least. Wonder what the BCS standings will be?Louisville's strength of schedule took another hit when Houston got smacked around by SMU today.
I wonder who is going to stop Michigan. They are rolling under Harbaugh like the Greatest Show on Turf.
Michigan rolls against crappy teams. They beat Wisc at home by 7. They've had one of the easiest schedules.Louisville's strength of schedule took another hit when Houston got smacked around by SMU today.

Doesn't matter to Louisville. Ohio State, Michigan, or Nebraska will make the playoffs before they do.
Their only hope is that Clemson loses two games in the regular season. And that's it.
How far does Texas A&M drop? How far does Ohio State drop? Penn State didn't even get any votes and Alabama is #1. Why should Texas A&M drop below Louisville? Both will be 6-1. Louisville's best win is NC State. Texas A&M beat Tennessee.
They most certainly are not, unless many other things happen. Starting with TWO Clemson losses.Have you been watching? If UofL wins out, they are going to the Playoffs. They have a Heisman and the media is in love with them this year. That Ohio State loss helps them for sure
Exactly. The Tards are toast, even if they win out- and I suspect that they'll choke against Houston, or against someone else, as they nearly did against Duke. They're a fraud and a joke. What are you all talking about. Winner of big 10 is in playoff. Winner sec in. Washington in if they win out. And clemson in. Louisville needs help. Not up to them. They need others to lose.

As for Ohio State, I hate them almost as I hate Louisville (well, not really, but I really do hate them), but this loss doesn't mean that much against their playoff hopes. If they lose to Michigan, they're done, but they were probably done if they lose to Michigan, even without tonight's loss. If they beat Michigan, and don't lose another one, and win the Big Ten, they're still golden, and ahead of Louisville. No way in hell the Tards jump a one loss Big Ten champ in Ohio State.
So are you saying the acc gets 2 teams in??? I would say the sec or big 10 would get 2 in before the acc!Louisville needs help but the loss that Ohio state took helps Louisville. One loss Louisville with the Heisman frontrunner will get them a lot closer . Way too much football to be played but I would love for us to be Louisville right now
Why is everyone hoping and praying and hand-wringing against UL? It just makes us look like Little Brother (which we should NEVER act like toward UL, even though currently their football program is way ahead of ours).
UL is really good this year. Jackson is a stud. If they win out and get in the playoffs, good for them, they will have earned it.
There's absolutely nothing that our sitting around and hoping they fail can do other than make us look pathetic.
They're not getting in, absent a miracle. And I will be glad if they don't.Why is everyone hoping and praying and hand-wringing against UL? It just makes us look like Little Brother (which we should NEVER act like toward UL, even though currently their football program is way ahead of ours).

If you want to call people out regarding Louisville, how about calling people out for slurping on them? I can assure you that they don't do it for us. Obviously, they have no reason to, in football, but, if we had a comparable team to the team they have, their fans would do nothing but ridicule, pooh pooh, and denigrate us. And how do I know this? Because I see how their fans regard our basketball teams, including the team that nearly went 40-0 and including our last title team. We should give them the same consideration they give us, in spades.
Not so sure. Louisville at this point is more deserving of the playoff than Clemson. Clemson has played one good half all year and that was against Louisville at home. Not a dirty bad fan but they have a great team this year. Jackson just takes them to another level.
Louisville is more deserving than Clemson? Pretty asinine statement considering Clemson beat them. Like, good god how frickin dumb are you? That literally makes no sense.

I believe that the expression refers to the tool, which could be used as a weapon.Never understood the spades saying. Aren't there just as many hearts as spades?
We should love them and root for them every chance we get. Our little, "team in state".
I actually agree with you here. However, especially earlier in the year, when we were really sucking, it seemed as if 70% of our posts were nothing but slurping and *** kissing to Petrino, etc. I was beginning to get the Louisville and Kentucky fans confused; I couldn't tell them apart. It was disgusting. With that said, I do basically agree with you. The less said about them here, the better. That's exactly the point I'm making. It's pathetic the way UL fans act toward our bball program. In turn, we shouldn't be so pathetic regarding their success in football. We should purposefully try to NOT act as ridiculous in football as they do in bball.
And I don't think they'll get in the playoffs either. But if the stars were to align and it happens, there's nothing we can do about it.
(Other than beat them on the field and eliminate their chances altogether. That would be the best case scenario, if an unlikely one).

In any event, I will put it another way, paraphrasing our President.
If they bring a knife, we will bring a gun.
We should return their hatred, obnoxiousness, and disrespect to them tenfold.

With UofL's schedule it'll be very unlikely they get in unless Clemson drops a couple of games. Houston falling apart took away their last chance to get a win against a marquee opponent. They probably will be 11-1 but there's a chance they might not have beaten any ranked teams by the end of the year. There will be other one loss teams out there with much better resumes.

I think if baylor or wva wins out they would get a bid before clemson or anybody from the acc.
Are you really that inept? How far does Texas A&M drop? How far does Ohio State drop? Penn State didn't even get any votes and Alabama is #1. Why should Texas A&M drop below Louisville? Both will be 6-1. Louisville's best win is NC State. Texas A&M beat Tennessee.

Louisville beat FSU by 40 plus points. NC state is not their best win sir. It is a good one though. It's one thing to beat teams, it's another to do it in the fashion that they do it.How far does Texas A&M drop? How far does Ohio State drop? Penn State didn't even get any votes and Alabama is #1. Won't happen if Clemson runs the table
