Doesn't matter to Louisville. Ohio State, Michigan, or Nebraska will make the playoffs before they do.

Michigan rolls against crappy teams. They beat Wisc at home by 7. They've had one of the easiest schedules.
Not so sure. Louisville at this point is more deserving of the playoff than Clemson. Clemson has played one good half all year and that was against Louisville at home. Not a dirty bad fan but they have a great team this year. Jackson just takes them to another level.
How far does Texas A&M drop? How far does Ohio State drop? Penn State didn't even get any votes and Alabama is #1. Why should Texas A&M drop below Louisville? Both will be 6-1. Louisville's best win is NC State. Texas A&M beat Tennessee.

As for Ohio State, I hate them almost as I hate Louisville (well, not really, but I really do hate them), but this loss doesn't mean that much against their playoff hopes. If they lose to Michigan, they're done, but they were probably done if they lose to Michigan, even without tonight's loss. If they beat Michigan, and don't lose another one, and win the Big Ten, they're still golden, and ahead of Louisville. No way in hell the Tards jump a one loss Big Ten champ in Ohio State.

Louisville needs help but the loss that Ohio state took helps Louisville. One loss Louisville with the Heisman frontrunner will get them a lot closer . Way too much football to be played but I would love for us to be Louisville right now

With UofL's schedule it'll be very unlikely they get in unless Clemson drops a couple of games. Houston falling apart took away their last chance to get a win against a marquee opponent. They probably will be 11-1 but there's a chance they might not have beaten any ranked teams by the end of the year. There will be other one loss teams out there with much better resumes.
Why is everyone hoping and praying and hand-wringing against UL? It just makes us look like Little Brother (which we should NEVER act like toward UL, even though currently their football program is way ahead of ours).

I agree to an extent. But I've had to deal with little brother fans from time to time where I'm from. I just like them losing.
I'd still rather see UT, UM lose any day of the week. To me, Memphis is UK's true little brother, they're just so insignificant we don't realize it.

If you want to call people out regarding Louisville, how about calling people out for slurping on them? I can assure you that they don't do it for us. Obviously, they have no reason to, in football, but, if we had a comparable team to the team they have, their fans would do nothing but ridicule, pooh pooh, and denigrate us. And how do I know this? Because I see how their fans regard our basketball teams, including the team that nearly went 40-0 and including our last title team. We should give them the same consideration they give us, in spades.

I actually agree with you here. However, especially earlier in the year, when we were really sucking, it seemed as if 70% of our posts were nothing but slurping and *** kissing to Petrino, etc. I was beginning to get the Louisville and Kentucky fans confused; I couldn't tell them apart. It was disgusting. With that said, I do basically agree with you. The less said about them here, the better.
I think you are forgetting FSU is still a ranked in the Top 15. With that said and with Houston taking a second loss, I do feel the Cards will need help to make the playoff. The thing with the playoff is everyone keeps talking about conference champs. However there is no rule saying that a conference champ must be in the playoff. It is the 4 teams that the committee thinks are the best. Either way I still feel the Cards will need help and I guess a New Years Day 6 Bowl isn't a bad 2nd prize.
Yes Clemson beat Louisville at home after playing a phenomenal first half and having to hold Louisville off down the stretch. If quick doesn't puss out on the final play and snells his way for a first down then Louisville wins. We beat LSU in 2007, does that mean we were better than them?
Clemson should have lost to NC State at home no less and Louisville just drilled them (mercy rule at half if there were one). Louisville drilled FSU whom Clemson still has to play. If Louisville continues to dominate their schedule and Clemson lucks out in wins like the NC State game I'm not so sure that Clemson would get the nod over Louisville. Better chance they would than not but doesn't mean deserved. Hate UofL all you want, doesn't change the fact that with Jackson at QB, they have one of the top teams in college football this year.
Louisville beat FSU by 40 plus points. NC state is not their best win sir. It is a good one though. It's one thing to beat teams, it's another to do it in the fashion that they do it.
