Do we even throw slip or tunnel screens anymore?

Especially now that we actually have a running game that's decent (Thank you Bennie Snell)?

Think about it, stick the ball in the gut of Snell, then throw a slip screen to the other side of the field away from the run fake. Pretty safe throw even for a guy who can't hit a wide open guy for a first down wide open and 5 yards in front of him.

What, you mean you're not enamored with the inside zone...then unbelievably errant incompletion downfield to an open WR...then a 100% exactly the same thing every time Wildcat play...then, then. Nevermind, that's the entire package.

The jet fake, inside zone fake, QB keep for a TD early in the game made me think we'd evolved from a middle school playbook to at least a HS JV playbook, but I guess not.
