I go to South Africa often and I love watching Super Rugby. Games are on DIRECTV in the US. Does anyone else here like Rugby?

Big rugby fan.

Did you see what the Italians did in their game with the English and the controversy it caused? Pretty funny use of a loophole in the rules.

I missed it. I love Super Rugby, especially the South African team's. The Pretoria Blue Bulls are my favorite. I do have mad respect for the Crusaders from New Zealand.

As for 7s, it is growing on me. I helped lead Arkansas State win 2 national titles in 7s. We finished 2nd to BYU in 15s a few years ago. It is almost impossible to beat BYU or Cal in 15s.

After a tackle the Italians would refuse to ruck up with England. Due to a loop hole in the rules, that meant they didn't have to line up at the ruckline and could just stand around inEnglands backfield. As soon as England passed th ball back through the legs of the tackled player, the Italians would tackle again.

I don't watch much Super Rugby or other professional leagues. I'm more of an national teams/international play guy.

I want to enjoy rugby, it is just hard to come by on tv and internet. I don't really know whats going on, but it is fun to watch when I find it. Isles is a beast. Hill would be a solid Rugby player , too.

I wish we could get more cross sport experiments. Would love to see how players from the NFL would do playing Rugby and vice versa. There have been some cases of Rugby players coming over to the NFL as well, but I think the learning gap ends up being too great for most. Hill would definitely do well on the offensive side, but how would he do tackling since he is so small? Nice thing about Rugby is players have to play both ways.

I think it's pretty fun to watch. My son's good friend was a very good rugby player for this part of the country. He went into the Navy and has gotten to travel around playing for the Navy team.

It's fun to watch; I wish I understood it better.

I played rugby growing up outside Sydney. It was rough even playing as 4th -6th graders. Metal cleats filed sharp. Scrums always left us with cuts and scratches on our legs from opposing team.

I met with USA Rugby about creating club teams with the NFL. Basically every NFL team could grant their name, i.e. Dallas Cowboys and they could practice and play in their stadium or MLS stadium. Rugby starts when football ends plus some of the retired NFL players or cut players could play for the rugby clubs. USA Rugby flat out rejected my proposal. I had Super Rugby help me with the proposal. USA Rugby refused to have "anyone" assist them to grow their sport. I told the CEO he should resign. I fought him for 6 months and gave up.

The Jonesboro Sun did a 3 day expose on my international travel. It was ridiculous. They FOIA my expense reimbursements. Went as far to write about snacks I purchased. They called me the Rugby Guru. Lol

And they'll continue to be a fringe sport in the US as a result.
