I am a longtime reader and poster. I am changing my name because it contained too much personal info. I am by no means a high profile poster like you guys but have spent a considerable amount of time on here.

With that being said, I have a close relationship with the Athletic Department and the Basketball program. I hope to bring insight to the Pack and tell the facts when I come across anything new. I love the site and have a new understanding of the influence it has on the the Athletic Depatment.

His knee problems are very real. He and Shug were not suspended! He has been hampered by this all year, and Rick is trying to give him as much rest as possible before the SEC slate.

The only problem the coaches have had this year is getting a few players to go to class. They all made their grades the first semester so that was a relief. This is typical and nothing to worry about.

DJ Gardner had never been in a strength program and couldn't handle the college workload it takes to play in the SEC.
Long turned out to be a basket case much like Walter Sharpe and he and DJ were let go before they hurt the team. I truly believe the coaches have learned their lesson with players like that. Shug has taught them a lot of patience but I'm not sure they will take a risk like him again. Kennedy at TSUN is learning the same thing with the Memphis guy.

Don't get on here and say 'you're close to the athletic department'. It can only hurt you personally and professionally. Just post information periodically and don't say where it came from, or just lie about it. Say you have a brother in law close to the program or whatever.

It's cool you read, and it's great you want to contribute. We all appreciate it.

They were suspended. That's a fact and I know for a fact. If you are so close to the Athletic Department or Basketball program...you would know this.

Take it for what you will. The people who are so hell bent on finding something to ***** about with our bball team will continue to do what they do (like find a way that a coach would structure a 3 game suspension over the first 11 games of the season and blame it on injuries).

The player and admin both laughed out loud when I asked them about this. The looks on their faces made me feel like an idiot for asking.

They both cited a few examples of the stupidity of this argument:

1) the 3 games suspension over the first 11 games. They each asked "why in the world would a coach that was attempting to drive home a point be so 'forgiving' about this? Why wouldn't the coach just not suspend them if this was the case? Stansbury would make himself a laughing stock doing that"

2) "Why would Moultrie have gotten to play on the exhibition tour in Europe?" I asked this in response to the fact that the same idiots on here had said that Sidney didn't attend because he had gotten suspended again, thus the ever pleasant and forgiving Stansbury allowed him to say he was headed back to TX to work with Lucas.

3) "Why would a player risk so much money in the NBA by admitting to knee problems? The NBA is always freaked out by knees."

4) "There have been times in all games where you can see that Moultrie is hurting. Also, you could clearly see the play in NYC that Sidney hurt his hand. Do people really think our Stansbury and the players went to the extreme of planning an injury during 2 of the biggest games of the season in NY?" I have ZERO to add to this.

5) "What in the world does Stansbury gain out of a secret probation?" I said that many on here feel that Stans is trying to help his reputation by not having another issue with Sidney. "Do they not think that Stricklin would be the first to know about this? Do they not realize how pissed Stricklin would be about this?" Then, of course, they cite the very visible other suspensions.

Again, I know this will do nothing to stop the idiocy of these arguments. I just hope it helps some of you that were walking out on the ledge with the idiots. There are a few on here that absolutely LOVE to hear themselves spew ****. Take it for what it is. This was a basketball player and a basketball administration person. No, I won't go into more detail about either. But, I will say that these are FAR better sources that anyone I have seen cited by BehrDawg or Coach34, who seem to only be able to cite themselves as the knowledgeable sources at this point

I am done with showing the stupidity of a double secret suspension. I asked my friend and a another person on the team that I was in class with. They both told me what I posted, I am done explaining the stupidity of others. Its just so sad that we have fans that are sitting here making this **** up.

I, by NO MEANS, am a "don't speak bad about our program" guy. I have had issues with Stansbury and feel that our program has not done what it could have. Yet, I am also not stupid enough to not appreciate and understand that we very easily could have been a whole lot worse without him. We have had PLENTY of issues with our program, this made up ******** was not one of them

it's not worth arguing. plus in reality it doesn't matter. the people "in the know" on both sides of this thing argue too much to really be people "in the know" ... That or it's the first time they ever thought they knew anything 'secret' since grade school so they have to post on it daily

as long as they play the rest of the season and stay out of trouble while still in school. how many threads have to be started about this when we will never know the real answer.

I don't care how long he's been posting on here. I don't ever think he knows what the 17 he's talking about.

Saying that somebody has "earned trust" simply because of how long they have been posting here shows how simple-minded and stupid some of you people are.

I didn't say I was working in the Athletic Dept. I'm here to give the facts when I come across them. I'm not pro Stans, I'm a State fan. I love to see us win and hate it when we lose. Take it or leave it. I put your name in the post because I know you are a big basketball fan just like myself.

Damn. Ya'll are making this board unbearable with this ****. And for the record, I don't have a clue who to believe. Let'sfaceit,I doubt Stans is very high on Coach's shopping list. But nonetheless,Behr and Coach make a valid point that these things go on and stuff is covered up. Happens everywhere. Problem is what if Moutrie misses another game with said knee problems? Does that override the 3 game prediction rumor? On the other hand, these guys with connections to the players, adm, etc, are ya'll naive to believe they are gonna tell the world every detail of the program's trials and tribulations? Of course, they'd deny such rumors no matter who asked. Nothing to gain by admitting such IF the suspension thing is true.
