Dumb question: will a picture of a ticket get me into CWS?

have a buddy with 4 season tickets, can't make it tomorrow. More likely a boycott, but who's counting. Offered me his 4. But he lives an hour + away. I'm trying to figure out how to physically get his tickets - then it dawns on me. Why not just send me pictures of each ticket and bar code? Surely the scanners at Commonwealth can scan an iPhone picture?

Anyone know? And yes, fully admit this is likely a question so ridiculously stupid that I get zero points and may God have mercy on my soul.

Also realize tickets should be easy to come by, would probably rather just scalp some than drive 75-90 minutes out of the way....

A picture wont work. I think you can contact the UK ticket office with the bar code and have a new set picked up at will call. Im not sure though, your best bet is checking with the UK ticket office.

No, but the ticket takers will take a picture of you being arrested and hauled off by the Lexington police so your friend will not have to worry about whether you got in or not.

It probably wont work on the phone.. I took tickets at Rockies games last year. However the process and equipment is probably different than what I used


It may work if you physically scan the tickets to a PDF file and have him email you that.. that may not work either tho.
