WTF???? We just had a meeting about banning coffee at work. The boss thinks it is a health risk. I bark up, Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks are on our campus and we have multi year contracts with them. He is still pushing his stupid agenda. Have any of you worked somewhere that has banned coffee?

You're in New York, right? Let me guess, your boss doesn't drink coffee. This would have surprised me years ago.

At that point I'd ask what else is being banded as part of this effort? Tea? All caffeinated drinks? What about sugary drinks?

If this is a health risk issue then what about unhealthy foods as well? I'd propose sit stands and treadmill desks (expensive). But a ban on donuts and fatty foods as well. Of course carbs would have to go.

Basically show his absurdity by taking it to its extreme conclusion.

I would look that milk turd right in the eye and ask him if he wanted his dick cut off. I honestly drink coffee all day long and if you took my coffee away I would cut you. They took my smokes, drugs and every other wonderful pleasure in life away as I have grown up. They will not have my COFFEE. I would go google ISIS porn on his computer and then report him to the proper authority. I would also ask him if getting dick and throat punch was hazardous to his health because after he banned coffee he would get 3 of each of those. Ban coffee get the fu(k out of here liberal *** pansy. Coffee is a mans game and I would check to see if that tool had a ***. SWEAR TO GOD.

I don't drink the office swill but if he ever wanted to take away my daily 40 oz Thermos of home brewed Joe he'd have to pry it from my cold dead hands.

My boss and I got into over the Trump win. He wanted my communications team to write a statement for him that we would protect all our snowflakes and none would be deported and we stood up against hate and bigotry. I told him that this is ******** and I will be looking for another job.

When I was a student at OSU, I worked at the ODOT design lab. There was once an effort to ban sodas because of spills on plans. It was proposed that coffee needed to be banned too. The effort quickly went away.

This should be a go-to for most arguments.

As an aside, did you know that people whose biochemistry fits the definition (or is near) of ADD/ADHD unknowingly use coffee/caffeine to self-treat?

Look into the research.

Interesting. I will have to look at this. Everyone always ask me how I drink so much coffee and still pass out like a bear every night. I can drink a flat white at like 7-8 at night and be asleep by 11. I have also passed out for a nap after drinking a flat white. Its weird how my body processes this stuff.

So I witnessed, from a distance, a gathering of 100% of the lower level employees in one "division" at an outdoor, out of the way and seldom used location today.

I imagine it would have to be as serious as banning coffee to get 100% attendance in such orchestrated fashion from this crew.
