The Virginia transfers played in the ACC. which is usually the #2 conference behind the SEC, but this year was #1.damn, those are some high batting averages. What about pitching?
I think they’re pretty high on McPherson as an SEC starter. So far it looks very impressive. Siary and Valincius are starters. Maybe McPherson ? Can't remember the 3 young guys that are returning
I thought he committed to Oklahoma? Him back would be great.Sullivan is back next year.
No that was Nolan Stevens. He’s gone but I wish we had him back.I thought he committed to Oklahoma? Him back would be great.
He never seemed to come close to living up to the hype here. Maybe a change is best for everyone. No that was Nolan Stevens. He’s gone but I wish we had him back.
1000%. McPherson gonna shove next yearI think they’re pretty high on McPherson as an SEC starter.
It was 4 people in the group for some semblance of possibly 3 OF spots and DH. But if Sullivan is back, maybe someone works into an infield spot. At any rate, on paper it should be a potent offense.I'm pretty sure the lineup you constructed is for our 5 man outfield squad
The good thing is that it should be easy to paint The Chameleon and get somewhere in the ballpark of one of his many faces. We’re hosting next year, winning a natty, painting championship murals across town
You’re joking, right? Not that I’m pre-shítting on the transfers….I think they are very good players. But there’s no way the ACC was the #1 conference this year (or any year). What are you using to make that call? The Virginia transfers played in the ACC. which is usually the #2 conference behind the SEC, but this year was #1.
The very definition of pre-shitting. Classic!!Not that I’m pre-shítting on the transfers….I think they are very good players.
Technically, isn’t pre-shitting really just a fart?The very definition of pre-shitting. Classic!!
ACC kicked the SEC *** in postseason this year. Only SEC win was UMiss over GA Tech. You’re joking, right? Not that I’m pre-shítting on the transfers….I think they are very good players. But there’s no way the ACC was the #1 conference this year (or any year). What are you using to make that call?
So, you’re using essentially a handful of results from one weekend of baseball to trump the data from an entire regular season? I mean, that must be what you’re doing, because there were no SEC vs. ACC matchups in the Super Regionals.ACC kicked the SEC *** in postseason this year. Only SEC win was UMiss over GA Tech.
A fart or the sh it that comes before you are ready to sh it?Technically, isn’t pre-shitting really just a fart?
Head to head is a lot more valid comparison than computer rankings. Actually looks like both conferences were a bit overrated this year. More parity in college baseball than there's been in a pretty good while. So, you’re using essentially a handful of results from one weekend of baseball to trump the data from an entire regular season? Pretty sure that a lot more goes into measuring strength of a conference than just head to head vs one other conference in the first round of the tournament.
What computer rankings? There are no advanced analytics or anything behind it. RPI and nonconference record pretty strongly show the SEC as by far the best league. Both of those are just straight, simple calculations based off nothing more than the W-L records of all the Division 1 teams.Head to head is a lot more valid comparison than computer rankings. Again, make offers they can't refuse to Utermark (SS) from Ole Miss and Bodine (C) from Coastal.....and we are set!
Better clear any new MIF's with Clinton.***1. Teel CF
2. Reese 3b
3. Becker SS
4. Sullivan DH
5. Chance RF
6. Valincius 1B
7. Nunnallee LF
8. 2nd Baseman Frei? havent heard if hes comin back
9. Chone James C
Need to add another catcher and make sure we get becker or another SS and probably another MIF.
That's fine. A 2nd basemen can play SS just as easily as he can play 2B. I think he'd be great there.Utermark is a second baseman...........
Definitely! That's why Sawyer Reeves made that smooth transition to 2nd without being benched for errors early in the season before moving back to SS and being absolutely reliable there down the stretch.***That's fine. Maybe so but there's no way we're going to get a starting IF from UM. Not happening. They'd overpay to keep them.Definitely! Sorry I left off the sarcasteriks because I thought it was obvious. Reeves was an absolute liability at 2nd to start the year. He was great at short, but he was benched early in the year because he couldn't field a ground ball.Maybe so but there's no way we're going to get a starting IF from UM. Not happening.
