I read an article earlier that Mark Few didn’t like the way to early projection where Gonzaga would meet Louisville in a tournament game being played in Lexington.

Cards have 7 regular season games remaining. Then at least one ACC T game. Cards need to do their best to take care of business and get as healthy as they can. Winning the 1st ACC T game would be quite an achievement in itself.

There's still plenty of season left before Mark Few should let himself get up tight. Anything can happen. Cards could even be shipped West.

Anyway, Mark Few is just politicking.

It just seems like fun and good old times to be even discussing these possibilities again. This desert has been wide and dry.

between espn and cbsports, every bracket predication I've looked at has us and uk in same bracket, who cares. it doesn't. again, just win. if you want to be the national champion, you should be good enough to beat the other 67 teams on any court at any time. Few knows his team sucks this year and has zero chance of the final 4 let alone a title.

Might want to throw Memphis in that circle as well. I have been saying for a long time that the selection committee is being influenced by the networks. The networks are paying big bucks to broadcast the games so they want certain matchups. The University Presidents just look so stupid when they say they selected teams based off their win loss record, strength of schedule, how they played at the end of the season, etc.

Louisville, a #6 seed would face #11 seed Charleston, then a 2nd round matchup with #3 seed UK. If they beat the Cats, #2 seed St. Johns would be next and if the Cards win they will face #1 Duke for a final 4 berth.

If they get to the final 4, I wouldn't be surprised if they see Michigan, Michigan State or Illinois.

My guess would be they would try to put UofL, St. Johns, and UK all in the same bracket. A UofL and Charleston 1st round matchup would be interesting as well.
