Chris codgill he spent 19 years as an assistant at burns. Then took chase job 35-18 but finished 2-8 his last season I believe. Wanna say he likes the wing T but don't quote me on that.

Going from 1 extreme to the other. Last few years we've only had 1 sure win on the schedule. Ashe has beat us past 2 years so if we stay with them I expect us 2 to compete for conference. if this happen EB can win in that conference only one tough team!!But Patton will be getting better!!
Air raid will give a team an advantage against run teams just by giving chance of quick scores and making running team try to play catch up.

Coaching at East Burke is one of the toughest places to win at in any sport, but the new conferences will help if it stays like the second draft was!!Time will tell!!
What is his offensive style? EB have been wanting to spread it out a little more. Not sure if that plays into their kids or not
I think he ran a shotgun version of the wingt at chase.
I think when he was at Chase he had a good running back and ran it quite a bit
From what I was hearing tonight, Ashe county doesn't want in that conference, but the rutherford county teams want back in. Looks like it might happen.
The weight room program just got better and the moral will follow. He’s a motivator and the kids will play hard for him. His scheme will depend on the skill set and he can adapt to either. Great hire!!
The weight room has never been the issue it is the skill players they have. Their teams have always been big and strong. The conference was so strong it was hard to compete with the kids they had. Time will tell looks like the conference change will gets some wins now!! No coach can win without good players so we will see. EB lost some of the some of their skill people and some big lineman!!
The parents and community will need to be supportive as much as the kids and administration.
I am not knocking how the weight program was previously but I know it will not go in a decline. He will have them working hard. The players have to buy in with the support from the community. There should be a lot of excitement.
Just curious, but where did you her Ashe didn't want in that conference and that it looks like it may happen?
Conference will be the big key for EB, getting out of the Sec of high school conference will help.
Just what I heard from some booster members, Ashe doesn't like all the travel they would have to do. Do you want in the first draft conference or do you want to be in the second draft one, just wondering.
Much rather be in the 1st draft. I'd hate to have to drive all the way to Lincoln county/Gaston County 3-4 times a season, especially before they finish the bypass around Shelby lol!!!!
We will probably have twelve new realignment periods before this bypass is ever done lol

2nd draft removed the 3 Rutherford County Schools and added Ashe County.
