Wonder how things would have turned out if we went small A last yr....oh well.
Y’all would’ve been state champs. No question. EF barely beat Scotland on one of it most down years Laurinburg and the SAC has seen since 2009.
Agreed nothing against EF but last year was pitiful for Scotland and 4a east. This year will be much different for SC. NOT saying a title but a much better team. 4 wins better easily..
Was jus poking fun at the CPC dude not throwing dirt at east they had a heck of a team last yr and deserves the recognition. Havent seen mr cpc in forever thought I poke the bear by saying something.
Cancelled....weirdest weather ever. Huge storm camped over Clemmons for 45 minutes and it poured. 7 miles to west. Never rained. Tough break for Creek and Wedington which both traveled a good distance.
Well...it looks like Dutch Forks game got canceled as well. I was looking forward to the EF matchup. Sounds like MC was ready to play their ones at least for a quarter and I think EF wanted to go hard as well.
Does feel like Creek is a little snake bitten by weather. Last years DF game gets canceled, Hoover 7 on 7 never gets to finish, then tonight. Oh well....hopefully we get next Friday in.

Davey County ran about 5 plays against West Stokes when they stopped play. I was looking forward to watching some of these matchups. Like B and G said that storm never moved.
Yes weather was crazy. Left my house with nice beautiful skies and pulled in at West Forsyth into a downpour.
I was at S. Stokes (30 miles north)and not a drop of rain, not even a cloud. I live in Clemmons and the news showed cars on the main road in Clemmons with water up-to windows.
It was a strange night. When they cleared the stadium I looked at radar and thought we would be back in 15 minutes. 45 minutes later I am watching the Bears - Giants in the car and it's still pouring when they cancelled. I drove out as the Weddington team buses were pulling in.
Stopped for gas about 7 miles west on I-40 and you could tell it hadnt even drizzled.

The season opener is one week later than last year. At the end of the season the complaint is it runs too late into December. I would like to season go to 11 games in 11 weeks shortening the season a week. Starting a week later or ending a week sooner each have positives but I will go with ending a week earlier allowing for less winter sports season overlap.
