No way this true...… You can't be enrolled at another school and especially out of state and do any workouts or practices with another team..Anyone know if this is true..

OK I just got on twitter and someone has deleted all the East Surry tweets that had the boys from Carroll working out at East this summer.....Where in he world did the tweets go???????Is someone not playing fair?????
The Gosnell kid participated at a camp that was put on at East Surry if my memory serves me correct which is legal. Just another person trying to stir a fire that has already been put out.
Meanwhile how many weeks away is this game? I thought it was this week. Looked and it's still a few weeks away. A lot of football to be played between now and then.
Your memory is right. Can't remember another player outside East Surry district participating except this young man. If it's so squeaky clean why did Lowman delete all the tweets that was posted with him at the mystery camp????If my memory is right wasn't he wearing East Surry gear???

Who knows. High school football is dirty sometimes. Schools bend the rules for football players. Change their grades so they can play. Give football players fluff academic schedules. Football tends to be treated way better than other sports. I know a player or 2 that shouldn't be on the field right now. I love this game but sometimes things are allowed to happen that shouldn't. Too much emphasis put on winning.

According to Deana before school started, this was cleared for the Gosnell brothers to play at East Surry this year. I am not sure if she learned it directly from the NCHSAA or East Surry but I don't think she would have posted it unless she was sure. Maybe she will clear this up once again before we get locked.

I could look it up, but I’m sure someone can tell me before I can look it up. Exactly when is the E. Surry/ Reidsville game? Who do they play before that game?
Per information from a coach in the area all of east games are being played under protest till the nchsaa makes a final ruling, whether this is true or not I don’t have s clue. For me and I am a bear die hard I feel like the gosnell kids have played little league at east , played middle school in pilot and played every snap of ball in pilot. So I don’t care what happened over the summer or winter, those kids are playing where they always have. This is the best football team in cardinal history. If it’s in the cards for them to win it all then I will be happy for our northwest 1a counterpart . If they don’t then it will be years before this kind of talent comes together again, it’s just the nature of the game in our area. I think this topic SHOULD BE SQUASHED AND BE A MUTE TOPIC.

In response to East Surry having all these D1 athletes that’s all well and great but ask North Stanly who was shut completely out by the way last year and East Surry whos only TD in the championship game was given to them by a bad call fumble obviously the Tarboro player was down a few moments for the ball was even picked up so essentially East Surrys offense was completely shut down other than a field goal. It’s been said this years Tarboro team is the fastest they have ever had and starting to click even more offensively and defensively. Tarboro threw for 3 TDS in one game this past Saturday against a 3A opponent Northern Nash who the week before best a 4A opponent in East Wake. I will give East Surry their just due they will

I think the Gosnell kids are great not just the ones that are at East but the ones that went through Pilot Mountain. Did not mean to stir anything. They have a lot of good ballers at East and he is one of them. I'm sure the East opponents weren't happy with the news because he makes them better when they already were very good before!
I personally think the East / Reidsville game will very close! Would not be surprised if East pulls it out or at least makes it a very very good game!

It was mentioned earlier on this post that E Surry J.V. Hung with Reidsville J.V. last year. what was not mentioned was that Reidsville Started around 8 Sophomores on Varsity last year including the starting QB. 8 sophomores that played a major roll in Reidsville winning the State Title last year. Reidsville win this game by 28 points. Wouldn’t be surprised if they put a running clock on E Surry.
Then get ready to be surprised this game will be very close and I believe it will come down to the final possession.

When I posted this thread, I felt East Surry had a good chance to beat Reidsville and I also feel they have a good chance to beat Tarboro ! Doubt me if you will.....

2A Reidsville had not lost at home in 3 or 4 years. Tarboro has some weaknesses this year that East Surry will take advantage of and this team is far better than last year with everyone back hungry for revenge,
There's nothing that says it has to end. I'm sure the guys in purple will be more than eager to take down whoever shows up.
There are plenty of games left. Teams need to stay healthy. Take care of business...We can discuss this in December.

See, sometimes there are comments up here that are just absolute head scratchers? You feel sorry for Tarboro? Since 08 we’ve gone to seven state titles. We’ve put three guys into the nfl, had back to back perfect seasons and you feel bad for us? Bc East Surry beat reidsville ? So what? Many Edenton fans felt we were better than north eastern last year, and they could’ve easily beat reidsville. I feel confident we could’ve beat reidsville last year and this year, so, so what?? Don’t feel sorry us, worry about your own team instead of jumping on the coattails of another team hoping they can take us down. They very may well beat us this year, if so, good, still no reason to be sorry for us.
