I sat on the Aces side of the field for this game. They had a good fan base and the folks I sat near had never heard of Reidsville. A few years back Reidsville was in same conference as west stokes so I knew what was about to happen.

With respect Tarboro won 2A three years in a row not to long ago. They like Shelby, Reidsville and WRH have all earned their stripes and have all been humbled! Tarboro is beating 3A and 2A teams non conference every year. Tarboro hasn’t lost a conference game since 2011. Fans of Tarboro would love to be back in 2A make no mistake about it. Just imagine Tarboro , Shelby, WRH, North Eastern , Reidsville and so on. All power houses and all who can compete and win in higher classifications. Hell WRH is playing Wake Forest this coming Friday. Tarboro has speed like you wouldn’t believe and their defense is of epic proportions. Would be nice for them to be able to move back up to 2A or even 3A down the road. I graduated from Greensboro Page and a friend of mine took
Me to a Tarboro game a few years back and I was blown away with how well they were coached and the athletes on that Tarboro team over the past few years. I’m here to tell you they could definitely have competed against my Page Pirates. Would they have won? Who knows but they would have made it a close game
Look forward to seeing the folks from Pilot Mountain. About our facilities: The hot food is on the home side as well as the bathrooms. We have port a johns and a small concession stand on the visitor side, with cold drinks, candy, popcorn and peanuts.Fairly large seating for a visitors side.
Will probably be some people outside of Pilot that will be there for this game. Should be a good crowd on visitors side

I agree ... This will be a tough test for the Rams. East Surry has a solid program.
was told by some that this year's edition of Ram JV is not quite as strong or talented as Ram nation is used to....can't say for sure as I've never seen them play...stilll a winning program tho...................
They aren't as strong. I seen them in 2 scrimmages, they do have some talent though. After next year, we could have a rebuilding year, talent is on the way from the middle school. Even though the jv's aren't as strong its still a good win for east surry as Reidsville was undefeated and beat two guilford county schools.
That sucks. I rather watch. Why isn’t High School OT covering it? They usually do most of the top games
I would like to think any team, varsity or JV, would be better now than they were 6 weeks ago in a meaningless scrimmage.
But I actually watch games so I dont know much.
I'm sure they are better. Never said they didn't get better from that scrimmage. They beat some good teams as well this season.
That's funny but the Rams may feel like their playing one of those mountain teams tonight. They gonna bring a crowd
There's a thread on both the 1A and 2A boards each. Nothing wrong with that, this game has been talked about since the start of the season.
JV score don’t mean a thing. I’ve seen Rockingham County JV beat Reidsville JV several times before, it still never Transitioned to the varsity level in the last 30 years
It won’t be no reloading year, these 8th grade skill players will be starting on varsity as 10th graders just like these juniors was last year.
I liked Edwards at safety for this particular game and tez at corner. We can still make it to states but defense needs to make some adjustments. I noticed it first vs Eastern Guilford. Not sure what needs to happen, but gotta get better on that side of the ball
Well it wasn’t the offense. It was the defense that couldn’t stop boaz and gosnell combo. I didn’t want to get in a shootout like this, because a few mistakes spells your doom
reidsville defense exposed last week against e guilford. shredded to threads by cardinals. e surry the best offensive team i've seen rams play in many a year. 12 was a one-men wrecking crew. rams offered no resistance, kind of looked like a 7 on 7 defense. depth up front showing up. guys wore out having to rotate same 5 or 6 all night. no excuses. best team won tonight. just being honest. east the real deal. period.
Doubtful there's a bigger and better QB-WR combo in the state that Boaz to Gosnell. And give to props to the East Surry OL - Rams didn't lay a glove on Boaz all night when he was in the pocket. He could take his time to find an opening and put it on the money. Gosnell showed great hands and speed.
