Musk, an avid Twitter user, has contended it needs to be “transformed” into a private company so it can become a forum for free speech. He’s also said that Twitter’s board members’ interests “are simply not aligned with shareholders” and that the board “owns almost no shares” of the company.

I still don’t understand why Musk was willing to overpay for that cesspool, but it’s been amazing to see how truly afraid the Twitter socialists are of free speech.

This was my first thought as well. But I’m sure he has a plan to make it profitable. He didn’t just lay down $44 billion to go down on a sinking ship.

I’ve never had any interest in Twitter before, and I probably won’t use it now. But I may just open an account for the fun of it.

It is indeed amazing to see how truly afraid the left is of freedom of speech and differences of opinion.

Not sure who first posted this. :)

why are all these lefties so against an african american owning twitter?

But can you really count him as a “real” African-American? Don’t forget, according to Brandon, you’re not really black unless you think like him.

Bwahahahaha.

I can’t believe he actually said that, and meant it … but he did.

I’m not black and I won’t pretend that I am, but if I were, I don’t think those kind of comments would make me feel very good about the guy who uttered them, or the party he represents.

I don’t know.

I’ve had a Twitter account for 13 years, but I have posted more tweets, and retweets, today than I did in the 12 years, 364 1/4 days preceding today. 😂

That’s the beauty of it to me. They are going to be exposed. Finally, a big win.

Musk is the closest to a bonified hero in the country today. While most Billionaires seek money then do the humanitariam thing(Gates, Buffett) Musk seeks to do good(Go to Mars, reduce CO2 emissions) and make money at it. In SpaceX and Tesla he took on the two hardest tasks I can think of--changing the direction of the world wide Auto -industry and taking out the nationalily owned space industry by reducing the cost of puting something into space by a factor of 10 and getting the USA back in the space game(we were using the Russian rockets and launch site to send men to the ISS). I don't know if he can clear-up the mess at the social meada sites but he sure doesn't back down from tackling dificult problems

Musk’s interview with Babylon Bee was great. I became a big fan. Little did I know that he would acquire Twitter and end a lot of lefty censorship within weeks! Now I'm an even bigger fan.

“social meada sites but he sure doesn't back down from tackling dificult problems”

tackling difficult problems ….

I was watching one of the news shows and a viewer texted in a suggestion….”can We get Elon Musk to buy the southern border?”. Have to admit it was a great suggestion….

In other news, how about Herbie and his blood clot. Feel bad for him, but if you caved in and were brainwashed into taking these jabs, there’s a decent chance you do/will have some problems at some point.
Biggest crime against humanity and yet most people still aren’t pissed off and still don’t get it.

Blood clots have been happening way before covid vaccines. Not everything in life is a conspiracy.

Here’s a possible conspiracy for you. Musk wants to put a chip in your brain. No thanks!

Additionally:

1) gave Starlink to Ukraine at the start of that war - kept the country in Internet and the communications ability that comes with it.

2) quietly donated $6b to UNICEF a few months ago, NO fanfare...

keep convincing yourself that these jabs are harmless. Do some research and look at the staggering numbers of people with heart/clot problems among other things. The numbers are not normal, especially with young people. Big Pharma pretty much owns the msm, thus you won’t hear all the crap that is happening.

Feel free to get your 4th, 5th, 6th, booster though and based on what???

Wake up people!

You don’t need to wake anyone up.

It’s true that young males are at risk for heart trouble after having been vaccinated. However there’s a higher risk of heart trouble from getting covid.

There are three groups that probably should get covid shots. The old, the obese, and those with compromised immune systems. It’s probably not necessary for healthy people. It was an overreaction by our government to an unknown virus. Life’s not perfect.

The known and potential benefits of COVID-19 vaccination outweigh the known and potential risks, including the possible risks of myocarditis or pericarditis. Also, most patients with myocarditis and pericarditis who receive care responded well to medicine and rest and quickly felt better.

Lefties are calling for “Algorithmic Justice”, lol, whatever that is. Their MO is to tack the word “Justice” on the end of everything to make it an unbeatable trump card.

Where was all of this when conservatives were being suppressed and censored?

The hypocrisy is astounding.

I caved and got the two Pfizer jabs so I could see my uncle before he died. But that's the only reason. I think I did the right thing but only because I'm 70 years old and I love my uncle. I'm not getting boosted.

I’ve had my 2nd booster and besides being addicted to the WeAreSC site, I am otherwise OK.

(Oh, and I drag my left foot around, mumbling “Marshall Dillon”, like Chester on Gunsmoke.)

Had the Omicron Variant in January 2022 and it lasted for about three weeks with some congestion in my lungs.
The first week was the worst of it with fatigue, muscle aches, coughing, sinus drainage irritation and arthritis flareups of old injuries being the primary symptoms.
I self-treated with OTC Motrin, Mucinex, Sudafed, Benadryl, vitamin/mineral supplements, Prednisone and Albuterol.

I continued to walk two miles per day and did not miss work from home.

Took several more weeks to regain my cardiovascular fitness (cycling).

At 58 y/o and in good health, I weighed the risk-benefits of vaccinations and believe I did what was right for me.
I do not preach to others what to do for their own health but do encourage looking past the CDC and MSM for one's health info.

Very good. I think we probably got lucky with omicron. However I suspect we will be facing more dangerous variants in the future.

When I turned 50+, my doctor started talking about maintenance meds, etc..

I said eff that, so I stopped going to the doctor....every few years, Id listen, take a blood test, and go.meet him...last one, fall 2021, everything still normal, except a high sugar count...

Drove around, worked at client sites thru the pandemic, never got an inkling of covid...my wife made sure we take the requisite vitamins, etc, do the sanitizer things...

Big Pharma can take it and shove it...

I’d actually like to see them stick around and use the opportunity to learn what real “tolerance” looks like and how it works.

Well, that’s very kind of you but how do they get deprogrammed?

I’ve got it! Musk can implant each one with his brain chip. ;)

I came down with it in January too - even though I had been double vaccinated. So much for the idea that the **** actually works. I was so congested that I took pseudo effedrine day and night - and my blood pressure jumped through the roof! I’m sure glad that during my phone conversation with the doctor she asked me about my meds and said “so tell me about this sinus + PE you’ve been taking.”
