I'm tired of people saying "OM and MSU would go undefeated in CUSA". Fact is, that's not relevant at all. You are in the SEC. You get SEC money. You are supposed to get SEC recruits. Your program is not a CUSA program.

and that is 'why' most MSU fans understand that the USM mantra of 'anytime, anyplace' was allways pure BS. Since '95, USM has played SEC teams 18 times, lost everytime but once and played ZERO of these games in Hattisburg.

We should never, ever play in Hattisburg ... period.

Last I looked, USM hasn't beaten a ranked team since TCU in '03 and hasn't beaten a BCS school that finished with a winning record since 1991.

Virginia finished 8-4 this year. Houston was #7.

Both future USM/MSU games will be sellouts. If all of your other nonconference games are sellouts, then I understand, no big deal.

Little old Missipee Southern hurtin' big old sec programs just by playin' em. You know, with their 10 fans and all. Some of you dumb 17s are hillarious. By the way, I don't care to play you guys anyhow. We need big games with big namesso if we get by UAB we can go BCS bowling. You big sec bunch ever been that close or even mentioned as a possibillity? No and never will be to be brutallyrealistic. We have a real shot at a BCS bowl next year, actually a realistic chance, you guys have no chance at all.

Given your dozen or less fans, the Reed Green Coliseum, and the number of D1 quality basketball recruits in this state, he has done as well as anyone could have done. You guys should be thrilled that you have the second best basketball team in the state and move on. You got a quality coach solely because of his past indiscretions. You should be happy with that and let him do what he does.

Eustachy is the best recruiter we could get because he is good at finding kids who have been booted from other programs or should be in jail (Dodson). Unfortunatley, my fourth grade YMCA coach was a better Xs and Os guy. He made his career at Iowa State off of Tim Floyd's recruiting. We rarely run set offensive plays. Our offense acts like a zone D is a foreign concept. And we have never, ever stepped out on threes even in crucial situations. Last night, we were up 9 with 2:00 or so left: The only way they can come back is if we let them hit quick threes. What do we do? We pull our entire defense back into the paint and give up two open threes in a row. I know you don't give a damn, but this goes to illustrate my point on LE.

Remember, in the late 80's and 90's, we were dwarfing State and Ole Miss' attendance in basketball. Our basketball program has been good. It is now is a joke, I agree. A lot of that has to do with bad decisions at the top. Instead of manning up and firing James Green, Giannini basically besieged our basketball program for years to push him out. Reed Green Coliseum has been neglected up until the last few years when it was too late. Whatever the reasons, our basketball program is a joke and our coach should and does reflect that.

Until we have an AD who cares about basketball and is willing to try to make it competitive again, we don't deserve a good coach.
