would’ve loved Hurley or Oats, but not sure those guys could’ve even created the kind of turnaround emotionally for this fan base.

oh, I got to where I didn't want to see Cal's face or hear his voice. I am so glad he is gone and we have someone who cares about KENTUCKY, the name on the front of the jersey.

I don't doubt the energy Hurley or Oats would have brought but it is not the same as someone who loves this place and is one of us. If you didn't take away that Pope has the fire and passion that is needed to win at this place, then I don't know what to yell you. Kentucky made the right hire here.
