With these schools opting down and getting the "okay" to be playoff eligible by that committee, do they count towards the number they use to divide the class? So for example, Alliance is opting down and eligible in C1 and Schuyler is doing the same for C2. Do they count towards the overall number with the split? Similar question for the schools that are opting down to D3?
I just read on X that Mead is declaring 6 man for the next cycle. Either their number is going to be substantially smaller than last cycle, or they just declared ineligibility? Strange move after qualifying for the playoffs.
They had a public meeting a week ago discussing it.
