I know there has been buzz about him. He is lighting it up this year in 4A. He can throw the the long ball and the short routes as well. But he does have some speedy/shifty WR's that help him too. Is he getting much of a look? Might we offer a preferred walkon spot for him at least? Looks custom made for the spread.

some skills.........He's the best QB Amory has had in a very long time and that includes some of those State championship teams.........He's not just picking up yards dinking and dunking the ball around either........He throws the long and intermediate ball really well........Trent Hammond told me that if somebody didn't pick up this kid, they were making a mistake.......So far, the schools I know of that have shown interest are Ark State, UAB, ULL (hud) and USM has started to show some interest.......He's a perfect fit as a spread QB......Amory would be 9-0 right now had he not gotten hurt and had to miss two games.......

Williams can play. He is probably the most accurate HS passer I have ever seen. He is very poised too, doesn't rattle easy behind a VERY under sized line. I'd take a chance on him. One more thing about Amory: Trent Hammond and his staff are doing a remarkable job with that team. Hammond was a Wing T guy, thow it 4 times a game guy when he came to Amory. He realized after a couple of games that wasn't going to work with what he had. They only have THREE kids over 200lbs on the team. They started installing the spread during the season last year. We are talking about a 5 wide, throw it every down, three steps and fire type spread. It's amazing to watch sometimes.

You need one every year. I think Russell wins the job in the spring, Prescott makes a nice move for playing time, and Favre sees the handwriting on the wall and transfers. We play next year with only Russell and Prescott which means we must stay injury free. That is why I think we need a QB in this class.

play at a very frantic pace........Teams that have a lot of players that play both sides of the ball get worn down by them.......They are very undersized but pound for pound, I haven't seen a better team in the State this year..........

that Amory hasn't been very good the last few years. This is the the second year for the new staff and last year they were installing this system during the year after trying to mostly run the ball at first. It didn't really click till this year during 7 on 7. Williams has missed a couple of games (Amory lost those two, haven't lost with him yet) this year due to a non-throwing elbo dislocation as well. Was supposed to miss 6 weeks, he missed two. Tough kid. If there is a physical knock on him it might be his weight. He is a slim 6'2" or 6'3". He has the frame to bulk up.

In the JUNIOR video, check out the DB that just stops after the pass is caught at the 1:26 mark. I bet that fella got several *** chewings for that display of UNRELENTLESS effort.
